Steritec Products Inc., a member of the Getinge Group, manufactures sterilization and cleaning medical device consumables using ink technology. We manufacture and print highly specialized proprietary inks that undergo specific color changes when exposed to different sterilization conditions in hospital and industrial/pharmaceutical sterilizers.

This Maintenance Technician III position is an on-site, full-time, non-exempt position. Hours are Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm (with some flexibility).
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician III provides preventative maintenance and repair services at the Denver establishment, following manufacturers' instructions and utilizing knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment (as appropriate to position level). This position is primarily responsible for on-going maintenance, development, and upkeep of facility equipment and complex sterilization equipment.
Preferred skills include LabView maintenance and programming to interface with sterilization equipment, including sensors, actuators, and instrumentation devices.
In addition, this position is responsible for independently maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing sterilizers and other laboratory equipment, as needed.
Responsible for maintaining all the equipment in the facility, the facility itself inside and out, and miscellaneous maintenance duties as needed. Special emphasis placed on accurate record keeping for FDA GMP purposes with focus on maintaining accurate maintenance logs.
Job Functions:
- Provide preventative maintenance at location in accordance with established procedures and techniques using proper tools, test equipment and replacement parts.
- Comply with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by Getinge policies, quality requirements and regulatory agencies.
- Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers and all Getinge personnel.
- Maintain personal competence for meeting job responsibilities through effective use of product information and technical data provided by Getinge and others.
- Participate in training seminars, meetings and on-the-job training programs.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to apply concepts and knowledge obtained from these training and skill development sources.
- Accurately prepare and submit on schedule all required reports.
- Maintain expenses and required inventory within guidelines and limits established by the Operations Manager.
- Satisfactorily complete all training as required by Getinge training and certification processes, regulatory bodies, and quality systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Keeps all equipment in good working order including the manufacturing equipment, printing equipment, shipping equipment, material handling, sterilizing equipment and office equipment.
- Keeps the facility and facility grounds clean and in good condition.
- Establishes a schedule and conducts effective preventive maintenance.
- Ability to start up, perform testing and preventative maintenance on boiler system. knowledge and ability to perform equipment and system preventative maintenance and inspection.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 3+ years' experience with industrial machine maintenance and electronic wiring and soldering or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- FDA/ISO exposure and document control and ability to read, interpret and test according to FDA and ISO standards a plus
- Higher-temperature repair and pipe fitting experience a plus
- Pressurized systems maintenance preferred
- Very strong technical proficiency in using schematics, system diagrams and repair/replacement procedures to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate all products assigned.
- Has the ability to assist with troubleshoot, repair and install facility and production equipment in an efficient manner to minimize operation downtime
- Desirable to have experience and understanding of electronic circuit logics (e.g. discrete, TTL, MOS, and linear circuits) and Relay Ladder Logic troubleshooting and PLC programming
- Printing equipment repair experience a plus
- Knowledge of various steam equipment operations desired
- Computer literacy; familiarity with information technology concepts, personal computers, Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

At Takeda’s Round Lake site, the work you do every day helps patients living with severe and chronic diseases. As a Maintenance Technician II, you’ll keep our Mix, Fill, and Finishing operations running smoothly in our Drug Delivery facility - keeping critical manufacturing lines running so lifesaving and life-sustaining therapies can reach families around the world.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in reliability, safety, and solving problems fast—especially when production depends on it.
The hours for this role is 6:00PM – 6:30AM working on a 2-2-3 rotating shift.
Why this role matters
When equipment runs the way it should, patients get the therapies they’re counting on. You’ll help ensure lines are maintained and production-ready, complete preventative maintenance on time, and stay engaged during runs to spot and resolve issues before they impact quality or output. Your troubleshooting skills repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems will directly support consistent, high-performing operations in a GMP environment.
In this role, you will:
- Keep production equipment reliable and ready to run: Maintain filling lines and related equipment, monitor performance during production, and partner with Manufacturing to reduce downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and documentation: Review/prepare PMs (including parts verification), execute PMs on time, complete required records, and use JDE CMMS to initiate/track work orders and downtime.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment performance: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems; rebuild assemblies; analyze trends to eliminate recurring issues; escalate to Leads/Engineering when needed.
- Work safely, compliantly, and develop others: Follow corporate specs/SOPs and GMP expectations, lead by example on safe work practices (Stop & Fix), report unsafe conditions, complete all required training on time, and train/mentor less experienced technicians.
What you bring to Takeda:

- High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of related experience, or an Associate’s degree (or higher) with 1+ year; technical certifications a plus (3+ years manufacturing systems experience preferred).

- Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and the ability to read/interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings (PLC knowledge or willingness to learn).

Under the direction of the Supervisor, this position is responsible for the expert level maintenance and repair of hospital buildings, facilities, and equipment. The role requires journeyman level plumbing expertise as well as working knowledge and reasonable proficiency in additional building trades.
The Maintenance Mechanic III provides technical guidance to helpers, workers, and mechanics on maintenance operations and assists the Supervisor in identifying optimal methods for maintenance and system operations. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including determining maintenance needs, establishing priorities, and responding appropriately. The SMT Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and preventative maintenance of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment during second shift hours, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.
Job Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, screen printers, and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
* Diagnose and resolve complex electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and software issues on SMT production lines.
* Execute scheduled maintenance tasks according to established procedures and manufacturer specifications.
* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production line interruptions, providing timely and effective solutions to restore functionality.
* Utilize schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities.
* Collaborate with production operators and engineers to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
* Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately in the maintenance management system.
* Support equipment setup, calibration, and changeovers for various product builds.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of maintenance best practices.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards, including ESD procedures.
Job Qualifications
* Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of SMT manufacturing equipment.
* Strong understanding of SMT processes, equipment operation, and common failure modes.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
* Experience with various SMT equipment brands (e.g., Fuji, Mydata, ASM, Panasonic) preferred.
* Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

* Ability to work independently on the night shift and as part of a team.

What you'll do as a Maintenance Supervisor:
- Manage budgets for building and repair, maintenance, supplies, third-party support and spare parts inventory.
- Maintain adequate on-hand inventory supplies to support sortation system. Monitor expenses and purchase actions.
- Obtain quotes to build strong vendor relationships. Ensure the best cost is being provided.
- Utilize maintenance connection to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Understand all profibus connections and repeaters within the sortation system.
- Identify, prioritize, and coordinate the daily activities of technicians.
- Manage the department to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety and task proficiency.
- Maintain proper staffing, required training and certifications.
- Work nights and weekends if critical system failures occur.
- Ensure the training and development of the team on all technical aspects of DC maintenance including conveyor, HVAC, ammonia refrigeration and building support systems.
- Monitor expenses by function and equipment type.
- Provide hands on repairs and preventative maintenance to DC systems as required.
- Monitor and maintain safety processes to keep the division in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Maintenance Supervisor:
- Have a 4-year degree or equivalent professional training and experience in an industrial maintenance discipline.
- Have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, including assertiveness, organization, enthusiasm, decisiveness, planning, confidence and accountability.
- Have strong technical working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, ammonia, energy management, MHE and conveyor systems.
- Have computer skills including Windows, maintenance database programs and Maintenance Connection.
- Have a working knowledge of PLC's, high and low voltage systems, including 480V three-phase, and computer controlled automation.
- Be able to work safely with potentially harmful chemicals, solvents and components.
- Have ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the job.
- Be able to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints and CAD. This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a
level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance & repairs on all plant equipment.
The Technician will work an 8.5-hour shift schedule, Monday - Friday and will participate in a rotating weekly “on call” duties with the maintenance staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the use & tracking of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment utilized in repairs and maintenance.
Responsible for housekeeping in areas assigned plus areas needed.
Responsible for interfacing with CMMS computerized maintenance management systems for PMs, Work Orders, Inventory, Purchasing.
Have a good working knowledge of pumps, valves, centrifuges, conveyors, rolling stock, plant air & hydraulics, and grain handling equipment.
Responsible for adhering to Plant Safety Programs including Safe Work Permits, LOTO, Confined Space Entry, Hot Works and Line Break permits.
Responsible for following company Personal Protection Equipment requirements including Head, eye, ear, hand and Fall protection.
Complete all safety training requirements as scheduled.
Key participant and contributor to our schedule plant maintenance outages.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a two-year degree from a technical/vocational school or equivalent training or 3 years work experience in a technical or related maintenance field.
Must have the ability to work effectively with CMMS programs.
Maintenance background includes welding, electrical and mechanical repairs.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficiency with basic office software.

Job Summary
The SMT Engineering Technician Night Shift will support the manufacturing process by maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring optimal machine performance during night operations to meet production targets. Job Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on SMT equipment (e.g., screen printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI) according to established schedules and procedures.
- Diagnose and repair complex SMT equipment malfunctions, including mechanical, electrical, and software issues, in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Assist engineers in process optimization, equipment setup, and the development of new manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Monitor SMT line performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and yield.
- Provide technical support to production operators, offering guidance and training on SMT equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and process changes accurately and thoroughly.

Job Qualifications

- Strong understanding of SMT processes, equipment operation, and common defects.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex SMT machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Experience with various SMT equipment manufacturers (e.g., Fuji, Panasonic, Mycronic, Juki, DEK, MPM, BTU, Koh Young, Mirtec) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with IPC standards and quality control principles.
