Greenhouse Technician

The Greenhouse Maintenance & Research Technician supports daily greenhouse operations by helping care for crops and assisting with basic equipment maintenance. You’ll work with row crops such as canola, corn, cotton, and soybeans in greenhouses and growth chambers, learning how plant growth, environmental controls, and facility systems work together.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years of experience in greenhouse work, plant care, maintenance, or related areas.
• Interest in plant science, greenhouse production, agriculture, or technical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Horticulture, Plant Science, Engineering Technology, or related life sciences field.
• Equivalent experience or training will be considered (greenhouse work, technical trades, agricultural experience, or similar hands on roles).
