Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic Inside Sales team. Will sell to and service accounts via phone and email. Source new sales opportunities through direct and indirect lead follow-up. Recommend and execute pricing strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Initiate and evaluate new product development.
  • Facilitate communication of technical requirements to Operations team.
  • Enter quality claims and communicate quality disposition of claim to customer.
  • Plan raw material requirements to support customer forecasts.
  • Create production orders from sales forecasts.
  • Develop and process quotes in cooperation with Logistics Manager based on identified sales strategy and information collected from customer.
  • Review sales contracts and enter order information.
  • Conduct ongoing customer needs analysis and after-sales support.
  • Fill orders by transferring orders to production; communicate expected delivery dates and explain current stock levels.
  • Perform routine follow-up sales calls.
  • Successfully complete all company required and job-specific training.
  • Perform additional duties as required.


Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and content management systems such as WordPress is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript or SQL is a plus but not required.
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for compelling copywriting.
  • Demonstrated interest in digital marketing trends including performance marketing and e-commerce strategies.
  • 1-3 years customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm for learning new skills. Qualifications
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, civil engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Relevant professional experience and expert knowledge in the field of machinery components, e.g., in gear, bearing, and drive construction
  • Expert knowledge in technical mechanics, strength calculation, material mechanics and fatigue strength
  • Business fluent in English, preferrable Chinese language skills
  • Ideally professional experience in the use of software for calculations in mechanical engineering, such as Kisssoft, Rikor, FVA-Workbench, and Bearinx
  • Ideally professional experience in the use of finite element methods, preferably with ANSYS
  • Communication and teamwork skills
