Basic Functions: Provides contract and legal support to the Legal and internal Swisslog teams. Support includes, but is not limited to: liens, lien releases, construction licenses, insurance, contracts, annual reports, bonds, guarantees, and comfort letters. Tasks may include administration, contract review, providing comments, drafting and negotiating, legal research and writing, report preparation, presentation preparation, sales training, minute-taking, general administrative support (calendaring, proofreading, correspondence, etc.) This is an essential and key position within the legal department with high visibility to all facets of the organization.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Management of incoming legal requests using Microsoft Teams and Planner.
  • Manage and administer insurance certificates outbound and inbound as well as insurance renewals, insurance requirements negotiations in contracts.
  • Direct communication with subcontractors in relation to contracts and insurance compliance.
  • Support internal customers daily with requests on contract review, drafting, negotiations and general contract management and administration. Review contracts and understand contractual agreement terms. Assess appropriate risk level while reviewing and provide comments, drafting and negotiating each contract.
  • Work closely with internal teams to validate new terms and seek approvals as needed.
  • Prepare, review and evaluate renewal agreements.
  • Respond to information requests from internal and external customers.
  • Perform other related duties as required: may draft corporate policies, letter and other legal documents under the oversight of legal counsel.
  • Maintains a clean and professional appearance at all times and promotes a positive image of the Swisslog Organization.
  • Assists with legal compliance duties, including company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and management, and, as needed with client leadership and personnel. Understand and anticipate departmental needs and corporate matters; delivers high quality service and results.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.


Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience drafting, reviewing and contracts
  • Experience supporting senior level duties.
  • Industrial experience in Construction, Manufacturing, Automation, Material handling and Engineering.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office software skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to utilize proprietary Internet based reporting functions
  • Excellent time management and general organizational skills
  • Experience supporting multiple levels of management
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work in an unsupervised environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter


Desirable but not Essential:

  • Paralegal certification
  • Contract Management certification
  • Microsoft Office Certification or comparable expert skills
  • Corporate governance and reporting experience, intellectual property experience.

Position Summary:


As the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will spearhead the operational excellence of our pharmaceutical distribution operations while building and leading a high-performing team of 10+ warehouse associates. You'll partner directly with our Director of Operations to establish accountability systems, optimize our RF-SMART NetSuite ecosystem, and play a pivotal role in our exciting expansion plans including a state-of-the-art new facility setup. Core Responsibilities:


  • Build comprehensive KPI accountability systems using RF-SMART manager dashboards that drive individual and team performance metrics tied to company goals
  • Lead and develop a team of 10+ warehouse associates through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives that foster growth and retention
  • Establish operational excellence for a new state-of-the-art distribution facility from the ground up, designing workflows and processes for maximum efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing root causes of operational issues and implementing systematic solutions for long-term resolution
  • Optimize technology integration within the RF-SMART NetSuite ecosystem to streamline pick, pack, and ship processes across pharmaceutical supply chain operations
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all warehouse operations in our highly regulated pharmaceutical environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Support multi-site expansion planning with potential involvement in West Coast facility development (Nevada region) within 12-24 months
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, regulatory compliance, and leadership teams to align warehouse operations with broader business objectives


Must-Have Requirements:


  • Proven people leadership experience managing 10+ warehouse or distribution team members with demonstrated ability to build accountability and drive results
  • Warehouse/logistics management experience in supply chain, distribution, or manufacturing environments (pharmaceutical experience preferred but not required)
  • Technology aptitude with warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, or similar operational software (RF-SMART/NetSuite experience a plus).
  • Automation Technologies such as Locus Robotics, AutoStore or similar
  • On-site availability - this is a fully on-site position in Miami, FL (Doral area) Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday coverage (9am-1pm)
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement systematic improvements
  • Regulatory awareness or willingness to learn compliance requirements in highly regulated industries
  • US work authorization - must be legally authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship requirements

Distribution Center Design Lead/Architect (Industrial Engineering / Material Flow / Automation / Operations)


Role Summary:


We are seeking a hands‑on Conceptual Design Lead who can own and drive the creation of the future‑state operating model for our Client’s new distribution center. This role blends leadership and deep technical design, combining Industrial Engineering, Material Flow/Facility Design, Operations, and Automation experience to deliver a cohesive concept that defines capacity, flow, labor, and automation strategy. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading workshops, building models, mapping flows, structuring deliverables, and making executive‑level recommendations.


What You’ll Do


  • Lead Phase 1 Conceptual Design, acting as the primary architect of the future‑state DC and the coordinator for all SMEs (Operations, IE, Strategy, Transportation, Automation, WMS/IT).
  • Build the 5‑year demand/capacity model, including peak week/day/hour throughput, SKU cube/velocity analysis, and storage strategy.
  • Design end‑to‑end material flows (inbound β†’ putaway β†’ storage β†’ picking β†’ packing β†’ shipping β†’ returns), aligning process engineering with automation options.
  • Create the facility conceptual layout (zones, dock strategy, storage types, work areas) and define envelope requirements (clear height, bays, docks, space allowances).
  • Evaluate automation strategies (AutoStore, Exotec, AMRs, traditional MHE), producing trade‑offs, sizing, and throughput scenarios.
  • Partner with Operations SMEs to define service models, exception paths, staffing needs, and productivity assumptions.
  • Work with Strategy & Transportation Analysts to align network role, transit expectations, and upstream/downstream constraints.
  • Collaborate with WMS Architect & IT Integration Architect to define system capabilities, integration points, and functional requirements linked to flow design.
  • Facilitate working sessions and drive the team toward a unified Phase 1 Concept Design Package including options, recommendations, risks, and CapEx/OpEx bands.
  • Present conceptual alternatives and recommendations to senior leadership and support Stage Gate 1 approvals.


What You Bring


  • 7+ years in Industrial Engineering, Material Flow Design, Automation Engineering, or Operations Design for distribution/fulfillment centers.
  • Demonstrated ability to design DC flows from scratch and translate requirements into conceptual layouts and automation configurations.
  • Experience working with or evaluating automation technologies such as AutoStore, Exotec, AMRs, conveyors, goods‑to‑person, or high‑density storage systems.
  • Strong command of capacity modeling, process mapping, labor modeling, and storage/slotting logic.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional workshops, synthesize inputs from multiple SMEs, and deliver polished executive-level design deliverables.
  • A β€œbuilder” mindset β€” comfortable rolling up your sleeves, doing the analysis, and also driving the broader team toward alignment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with WMS/IT, Operations, Strategy, and Real Estate partners during early design.
