Hill Wallack LLP is seeking a Foreclosure Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of experience handling foreclosure matters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing foreclosure files from referral through conclusion and will be comfortable working in a deadline-driven legal environment.

This position is suited for a detail-oriented professional who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage foreclosure matters from referral through final resolution
  • Order and review title reports
  • Obtain payoff statements and prepare deed assignments
  • Draft correspondence and legal documents
  • Prepare and process foreclosure pleadings
  • Monitor and meet sensitive court deadlines
  • Provide status updates and communicate effectively with clients
  • E-file pleadings with the court
  • Maintain organized case files and case tracking systems

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in foreclosure and creditors' rights
  • Experience managing foreclosure files independently
  • Knowledge of court procedures and e-filing systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong administrative skills, including accurate typing, proofreading, spelling, and grammar
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LPS and Tempo
  • Experience in a law firm environment handling high-volume matters
