Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design
  • Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
  • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment

Job Overview

This full-time Interventional Cardiology opportunity offers the ability to practice in a community-based setting affiliated with a nationally recognized academic health system. The clinical team includes four Interventional Cardiologists, four Non-Invasive Cardiologists, and two Electrophysiologists providing comprehensive cardiovascular care.


The practice is based in Pleasanton with satellite clinics in Castro Valley and Emeryville. Hospital coverage is provided at a local Stanford-affiliated hospital. Call responsibilities are distributed equally among physicians.

Advanced cardiac diagnostic services include echocardiography, cardiac MRI, coronary CTA, nuclear imaging, multi-modality stress testing, arrhythmia monitoring, and vascular imaging. There are opportunities to expand and develop a Structural Heart program. Providers benefit from robust ancillary support staff and collaboration with specialists within and outside the broader academic system.
