The Instructional Designer will be responsible for developing both e-learning and in-person learning modules for internal and external customers. Internally, these modules will be used to improve training quality for our technical personnel. Externally, these resources perform a critical role in the acceptance and proper use of Valco Melton’s equipment at customer sites.
The Instructional Designer will be the sole developer of these learning modules but will have robust support from the Engineering and Service teams. Job Description
The Digital Accessibility Specialist supports the Accessibility Center of Excellence (COE) by partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver inclusive, accessible digital experiences at scale. In this role, you will conduct audits of design systems and content management platforms. You will perform manual and automated accessibility testing across web and mobile experiences, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA, and related standards. You will identify accessibility barriers, author high-quality defects and documentation requirements, and contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of accessibility practices across company.

Soft Skills Needed: strong oral and written communication, collaboration and stakeholder management, coaching would be beneficial.
Project person will be supporting auditing and documenting our design system for accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead accessibility audits of design systems and content management platforms.
- Create requirements for accessibility documentation to support users of these systems and platforms
- Contribute accessibility guidance, job aids, checklists, and training materials to knowledge repositories.
- Evaluate web and mobile experiences using assistive technologies and automated testing tools to identify accessibility issues.
- Test products against WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
- Create clear, actionable accessibility defects with reproduction steps, user impact, and standards mapping.
- Partner with Product, UX, Engineering, and QA teams to integrate accessibility into Agile workflows.

Valco Melton, a world leader in adhesive application, fluid handling, and quality assurance systems, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the Field Service team based out of our world headquarters in Cincinnati.
The Field Service Technician will install, repair, and service Valco Melton's adhesive dispensing and quality assurance systems at customer sites. The Technician will also advise and train customer personnel in the operation of Valco equipment. Applicants must have general technical aptitude, ideally some prior experience working with machinery, and will need to work off of engineering drawings and electrical and pneumatic schematics.
This position will be based out of Valco Melton’s headquarters in Cincinnati, but approximately 80% of time will be spent traveling to and working at customer facilities out of town. The majority of this travel will be overnight trips to other states. This role will also entail working 2 weekends per month, on average.
In addition, travel may include occasional international trips to Canada.
This position will offer extensive opportunities for overtime and double time. With base salary + overtime, potential earnings can range from $70,000 to $95,000 annually.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
- Carry out all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Determine customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
- Build positive relationships with customers through high-quality work and winning customer service attitude.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; OR certification/diploma from relevant trade/vocational school.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
- Working knowledge of electrical and/or pneumatic control technology.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work schedules.
- Class 3 driving license and fluency in English.
- Ability to lift loads of ~50 pounds.
Preferred Competencies:
- Business-level Spanish (preferred).
- Knowledge of single- and three-phase power connections.
- Ability to navigate/program PLC/CNC equipment.
