Job Description
Safe Harbor Legal Solutions is a growing elder law and estate planning firm seeking a Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and paralegals in serving families with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail.
This position plays a key role in both legal workflow and client experience. Our Legal Assistants support document preparation, file organization, and client communication, and also share responsibility for phone and reception coverage as part of a collaborative team.
We are currently hiring one to two Legal Assistants and are open to both part-time and full-time schedules based on candidate fit and availability.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment and values meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble estate planning and probate documents from templates
- Maintain organized digital and physical client files
- Assist with client intake and information gathering
- Communicate with clients via phone and email in a professional and empathetic manner
- Manage scheduling and coordinate appointments
- Provide front desk and phone coverage as part of a rotating team structure
- Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative and workflow tasks
- Track deadlines and follow established office procedures
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree preferred (paralegal studies or related field a plus)
- Prior administrative or office experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Professional and confident phone demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with elderly clients and families
