General Purpose of Job

The Director of New Business is responsible for enabling and accelerating revenue growth by leading and supporting the new business process from RFI through final decision. This role partners closely with opportunity leads to facilitate the entire pitch process, ensuring teams are focused, equipped, and positioned to win new business. 

The Director of New Business oversees the development and execution of new business pitches by translating complex client needs into compelling, insight-led proposals across targeted accounts and industries. This role works closely with agency and pitch team leadership by managing new business resources (including project management, design, copywriting, etc.) with speed and efficiency, ensuring high-quality output under tight timelines. 

As a senior leader, the Director of New Business balances strategy with hands-on execution and plays a critical role in elevating how the agency competes, presents, and delivers in every pitch. This is a highly collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves role for someone who can lean in, make decisions, and get the job done well.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Enablement  

  • Partner with pitch leadership to define and execute the new business process from opportunity RFI through proposal submission and presentation. 

  • Develop and maintain frameworks, tools, and processes that enable the new business team to pursue opportunities efficiently and effectively. 

  • Lead the creation of proposals, credentials, and pitch materials that clearly articulate the agency’s value, approach, and differentiation. 

  • Translate client business challenges and objectives into clear, compelling stories that resonate with mid-market decision-makers. 

  • Ensure every pitch reflects a strong point of view, practical thinking, and a deep understanding of the prospect’s needs and priorities.

Team Leadership & Development  

  • Lead the sales support team responsible for RFP responses, proposals, pitch development, and presentations. 

  • Oversee end-to-end pitch execution, including discovery, story development, solution design, pricing coordination, and final delivery. 

  • Establish and maintain best practices for pitch quality, messaging consistency, and overall new business excellence. 

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and collaboration. 

  • Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and results-driven execution. 

  • Operate as a hands-on, working leader who actively contributes to pitches and problem-solving as needed. 

  • Track, analyze, and report on new business performance metrics, including pipeline health, win rates, deal size, and profitability. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration  

  • Partner closely with Strategy, Creative, Media, Data, and Client Services leaders to develop integrated, insight-driven solutions.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters or Advanced Degree preferred  

Experience: 

  • 8-10 years of business experience 

  • Proven track record of supporting or leading successful new business efforts and complex, multi-disciplinary pitches.

Responsibilities:


This program focuses on supporting activities related to process development, optimizations and designs of portable, modular gas-to-methanol technologies in partnership with M2X Energy Inc., which involves, but is not limited to:



  • Development and review of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).


  • Creation and support of CAD drawings for equipment layouts, skid assemblies, and process components.


  • Design, assembly, and experimentation with benchtop instruments, including data acquisition and analysis.


  • Basic process control support and maintenance of engineering and manufacturing documentation.


  • Assembly, modification, and operation of flow reactors and adsorption testing systems (such as breakthrough rigs) to generate data for pressure swing adsorption (PSA) modeling and validation.


  • Participation in chemical laboratory experiments and processes, including but not limited to testing adsorbent materials to enhance methane recovery from renewable natural gas streams.


  • Preparation of written and oral reports summarizing experimental results, processes, and findings.



Minimum Qualifications:

Enrollment or recent completion in an engineering or science undergraduate program and basic proficiency in one or more of the following: chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemistry with scientific lab work.

  • Determine deductibles, co-payments, and co-insurance for students and patients in participating insurance plans.


  • Verify that the insurance on file for patient appointments is active.


  • Update accounts with inactive insurance and contact patients for additional information.


  • Receive and verify patient insurance via multiple sources (in-person, phone, email, Qualtrics, kiosk, International Insurance Pool) and determine network status.


  • Collect the payment from patients for student health fees, co-pays, and prior balances. Perform applicable system searches when necessary to determine student status.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the design and production of educational materials and social media content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software.


  • Complete data entry and document preparation with a high degree of precision, strictly adhering to HIPAA and FERPA privacy regulations.


  • Follow detailed written task analyses to ensure all materials meet program standards under the direction of the Program Manager or Director.


  • Provide on-site support for community events, assisting with setup, logistics, and client interaction.


  • Utilize PC systems and data processing software to maintain accurate records and project workflows.


Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

The University of Central Florida College of Graduate Studies oversees, supports, and advocates for over 10,000 students across 200+ master's, doctoral, specialist, and certificate programs. Within the College of Graduate Studies, the Department of Graduate Student Services supports all graduate students from enrollment to graduation by managing academic records, tracking degree progress, and processing milestones.

The Opportunity:

Under the direction of the Manager of Graduate Student Services, the Academic Evaluator II reviews eForms, evaluates graduate transfer credit, and updates the Graduate Plan of Study (GPS/degree audit). The position explains and clarifies academic policies and procedures related to transfer credit for students, faculty, and program staff. The Evaluator also assists with commencement preparation and attendance, certifies all graduate and certificate degrees, and provides high-quality customer service to graduate students, faculty, and program personnel.

Responsibilities:


  • Review, evaluate, and process graduate-level transfer credit requests. Resolve GPS (degree audit) related issues regarding graduate transfer credit.


  • Evaluate and process Programs of Study/eForms. Ensure GPS (degree audit) course substitutions/course moves comply with the Catalog Year/Requirement Term, as well as with graduate policy.


  • Process late Intent to Graduate (ITG) requests and communicate with college contacts at each phase of the graduation certification process. Attend and support each commencement ceremony. Conduct the final certification process each semester and award degrees once all requirements are met.


  • Provide quality customer service to graduate students via phone, email, or in person. Communicate with graduate department faculty and staff as well as other university offices to resolve student issues regarding student services, academic progress, and graduation. Refer students to others for appropriate assistance.


  • Perform testing and validation of Student Services PeopleSoft modifications, documenting results and providing feedback to the CGS ERP Specialist to support accuracy, reliability, and system improvements.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Implementation & Quality Control:

  • Develop new internal and external partnerships, including grants and collaborations with other university units to enhance client services.
