Responsibilities:

• Keep a close eye on swimmers in the wave pool, and many exciting water attractions
• Act as a first responder and jump in the water to keep guests safe
• Assist guests in and out of rafts and cycle through the line efficiently
• Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders

• Keep ride patios and midways clean and looking great

Payrate: $12.50-$15.50/hr.

Qualifications:

• Must be 15 years or older 
• Must be able to swim 200 yards in 15 minutes, retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom of a pool, tread water for two minutes, and lift yourself out of the pool
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to earn the Special Facilities Certification
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Six Flags White Water is seeking a skilled and dynamic leader to join our Maintenance Operations department . This person will lead the maintenance, construction, and rehab of Six Flags White Water facilities, attractions, and rides .

Responsibilities:

* Lead the Maintenance Department to deliver results in a broad array of activities including facilities maintenance, annual preventative maintenance activities, repair and rehabilitation of structures and equipment, landscaping and support for park operations.
* Oversee the broad array of facility-related maintenance, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry, roadways, and wooden and fiberglass attraction structures.
* Ensure that the water quality program is being properly executed in accordance with the swimming pool standards set by Six Flags and Cobb-Douglas Public Health.
* Ensure that the ride inspection programs are being properly executed in accordance with the standards set by Six Flags, Ride Manufacturers, ASTM and the State of Georgia.
* Maintain and enforce Six Flags and OSHA safety standards to ensure safe operations for guests and employees
* Schedule, prioritize, and oversee park projects and goals.
* Utilize data from financial reports to layout annual department operating budget, and maintain fiscal targets through monthly forecasts.
* Work closely with and support various Marketing, In-Park Service, Operations, Group Sales, and Human Resources initiatives to ensure successful implementation of all special projects, events and programs.
* Provide leadership, coaching and development for the entire Maintenance Team.
* Assist Maintenance Director with and participate in the implementation of capital projects and new construction projects.
* Occasionally serve as Park Manager In-Charge on a rotating basis.
* Other duties as assigned

Status: Fulltime, Exempt.
Pay Range: Starting at $85,000 (based on experience & certifications)
Qualifications:

* Working knowledge of Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management systems.
* Working knowledge of various skilled trades including Carpentry, Electrical, Mechanical (experience with conveyor belts is a plus), HVAC, Paint and Fiberglass.
* Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
* Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a water park Maintenance Department.
* Advanced knowledge of swimming pools and water slides
* Ability to meet deadlines and understand cost implications.
* Ability to professionally interact with various departments and park guests
* Ability to write, speak and understand English with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
* Able to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, standing for long periods of time, climbing, and working at heights up to 100 ft.
* Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
* Ability to work outside in any weather conditions, nights, weekends and holidays
* Valid Drivers' License and clean DMV report.
* Candidates must currently have an active Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license.

Flexible scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Support recruitment initiatives by participating in local community outreach events and staffing trips.
• Assist in researching, coordinating, and scheduling recruitment activities.
• Monitor front office areas to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for team members and guests.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, including taking messages and directing calls appropriately.
• Provide support for team member relations efforts, including wardrobe appointments, retention programs, survey participation, and Guest Service–focused initiatives.
• Conduct interviews and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and returning team members.
• Assist with the coordination and support of the International Program, including cultural integration activities.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of cultural events that enhance team member engagement and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Maintain organized and accurate seasonal employee files for both current and previous years.
• Assist with facilitating and guiding New Hire Orientation sessions.
• Support inventory counts and help maintain supply levels as needed.
• Maintain timesheets, disciplinary document logging, ticket management systems.
• Adhere to and enforce all Six Flags policies and standards.
• Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude toward the park, its mission, and the Human Resources department.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the HR office, including tasks such as laundry, sweeping, mopping, and general filing.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by Human Resources management.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist with additional shifts as operational needs arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Payrate: $12.50/hr.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to live the Six Flags Mantra and adhere to all grooming standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are vital to success.
• Proven ability to use independent judgment and effectively prioritize.
• Proven ability to positively communicate effectively in English both verbal and written.
• Proven possession of the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel are critical for success.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs with or without assistance.
• Previous theme park experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to demonstrate effective written communication to include reports, tracking systems, file notes, e-mail correspondence, facsimile correspondence, and other required methods.
• Ability to maintain objectivity in times of pressure.

Overview:

As a Human Resources intern, you will be responsible for aiding with the daily functions of the HR front office. Your passion for helping others and engaging personality will be on display every day, as you assist Six Flags team members and applicants. As the Human Resources intern, your positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication techniques will help you to embody the Six Flags Mantra and provide the best possible service to our employees and applicants. You will have the opportunity to apply to interview for the following positions:
Lead, Supervisor, or Sr. Supervisor
Responsibilities: ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Prepare and serve food with a smile!
Use register for sale of products.
Monitor food temperatures during holding and serving.
Adhere to all company policies, including cash handling.
Observe proper sanitation guidelines at all times (hair restrained, hand washing, etc.).
Perform clean-up duties of all kinds before, during, and after a shift.
Exhibit proper Guest Service Skills at all times.
Ensure the optimal performance of assigned locations is achieved by following the Six Flags mantra of Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe service.
May be shifted to various locations, as staffing needs dictate.
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with guest concerns to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Submit orders for product based on projected attendance.
Track inventory movement (costs of goods sold, spoilage, and transfers) and conduct a comprehensive weekly inventory count.
Troubleshoot issues and escalate to Full-Time management if needed.
Conduct coaching/counseling sessions with Team Members.
Maintain compliance of all labor laws and regulations as defined by Six Flags, state, and federal government.
Maintain compliance of all food safety rules and regulations as defined by Six Flags and its governing regulatory authorities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must have Food & Beverage experience.
Culinary & Hospitality Preferred but not required.
React well in stressful and emergency situations.
Be willing to actively engage guests.
Communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
Be available to work flexible hours and on weekends, nights, and holidays.
Possess above-average communication skills.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Be safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanor.
PHYS ICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Continued sitting, standing, and bending; frequent kneeling.
Stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day; walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
Lift and carry 25 lbs. over 25 feet over various surfaces; lift and lower 5 lbs. above shoulder level.
Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6 feet in height.
