Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Software Systems Engineer in Hazelwood, MO for the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program. The Tomahawk program is proliferating to include additional US and foreign customers and will remain relevant for many more years.

The successful candidate for this Software Systems Engineer position will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software system and subsystem engineering models utilizing Catia Magic Systems of Systems Architect throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, and safety standards for the Tomahawk program, while adhering to strict government regulations. You will have the opportunity to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing system and subsystem components and functionalities for systems integrations. Additionally, you will be a system and subsystem resource to team members, who will debug and resolve issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.

Position Responsibilities:

• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Catia Magic Systems of Systems Architect, and Department of Defense Architecture (DoDAF).

• Manage requirements, tracking, and verification for Tomahawk Mission Planning (TMP) systems change requests (CRs)

The Boeing Company is currently seeking Flight Simulation Software Engineers (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) to join the Flight Simulation Labs team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

As a Senior Simulation Software Engineer, you will be part of the Simulation and Test Systems team. The Simulation and Test Systems team is responsible for building the infrastructure necessary to enable the development, test, and deployment of our autonomous aircraft software. You will work closely with the hardware-in-the-loop test environments, high-fidelity physics simulation stack, and cloud-based Monte-Carlo infrastructure to enable the millions of flight equivalent hours necessary to certify our aviation products. These systems provide fast and accurate feedback on the behavior of our system through a wide variety of flight plans, environmental conditions, and system faults.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Displays Software Engineer, your primary focus will be designing, architecting, and building a variety of real-time user interface applications for controlling our automated aircraft systems. These can range from browser-based applications to real-time embedded UIs on aviation-grade hardware. All of these applications will support our work to build a fully certified system in multiple ways: they will serve as a platform for rapidly prototyping different workflows and designs; they will be directly used in our ongoing experimental test flight programs; and they will ultimately serve as a reference implementation for our certified displays and controls. Senior Software Engineer – Deployment & Reliability (Digital Pathology / Medical Imaging)

A fast-growing technology company operating in the digital pathology and medical imaging space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and long-term reliability of advanced imaging and AI-driven software systems.

This role sits at the intersection of software deployment, infrastructure engineering, and site reliability, ensuring complex software platforms are successfully installed, integrated with customer IT environments, and maintained at high levels of performance and stability.

You will work closely with engineering, customer support, and monitoring teams to ensure a smooth transition from system deployment to ongoing operational support while contributing to improvements that make deployments more scalable and reliable over time.

Key Responsibilities

Deployment & Configuration

• Lead end-to-end deployments of imaging, AI, and data management software systems at customer environments
• Configure and integrate servers, clusters, and storage systems within hospital or laboratory IT infrastructures
• Work with networking, authentication, storage, and security configurations to ensure successful installations
• Collaborate with field engineering teams during system installation and commissioning
• Develop standardized deployment playbooks, documentation, and validation checklists

System Reliability & Upgrades

• Manage software version rollouts, upgrades, and patching across deployed customer environments
• Work with monitoring and observability teams to track system performance and health
• Troubleshoot complex issues across multi-component systems including imaging software, AI inference pipelines, and storage layers
• Improve automation around upgrades, rollbacks, and maintenance processes

Engineering Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Identify recurring deployment or performance challenges and work with R&D teams to design long-term solutions
• Provide structured feedback from field deployments to improve product architecture and deployment workflows
• Validate new deployment tools, frameworks, and configuration approaches prior to wider rollout
• Contribute to improving the scalability and resilience of the overall platform

Customer IT & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as a technical liaison with customer IT teams regarding networking, infrastructure, security, and data access
• Ensure deployments comply with institutional IT policies and healthcare regulatory requirements
• Collaborate closely with support and monitoring teams to align escalation processes and root cause investigations
• Participate in post-deployment reviews to improve operational processes and reliability

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain detailed installation and configuration documentation
• Develop deployment guides, troubleshooting documentation, and internal knowledge resources
• Support and mentor field teams on standardized deployment and configuration practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in software deployment, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or systems engineering
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) administration and scripting skills
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Familiarity with web service configuration (Nginx or Apache)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, and authentication systems
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems across software, infrastructure, and data layers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams and customer IT stakeholders

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to medical imaging systems, digital pathology, or healthcare technology environments
• Familiarity with DICOM or PACS systems
• Experience deploying or supporting AI/ML models in production environments
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Software Test Engineer will provide technical leadership and cross-functional

influence within a vibrant, high-performing R&D team that is redefining the treatment of

structural heart disease. The incumbent will lead the software test workstreams across a

product and non-product ecosystems involving multiple devices, and fill other

roles/responsibilities to meet evolving business needs as directed by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical

Engineering or similar.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in C/C++ family of coding languages.

• Familiarity in common software test methodologies identified in IEC 62304 such as

unit, integration, verification and software system testing.

• Experience in non-product software validation compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part

820, EU-MDR regulations, and ISO 13485.

• Familiarity with implementation of static and dynamic unit test tools and methods.

• Familiarity with common code repositories and maintenance thereof.

• Ability to work with software developers to produce concise, unambiguous software

design/test documentation.

• High motivation, technical curiosity and inclination to find creative ways forward

when faced with challenges.
