The Boeing Company is currently seeking Flight Simulation Software Engineers (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) to join the Flight Simulation Labs team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

The roles will involve software development for tools that support simulation infrastructure across Flight Simulation Labs. Selected candidates will be aligned to a statement of work that best suits their interests and skillset, some of which could include:

• Creating core simulation infrastructure to serve as a jumping-off point for programs developing flight simulation capabilities

Position Responsibilities:

As a Displays Software Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the remote piloting software team. This team is responsible for building the pilot-facing application software that is used to command the aircraft's advanced automation systems - both onboard, and remotely. You will join a team of interdisciplinary and mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics, and self-driving vehicles.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Displays Software Engineer, your primary focus will be designing, architecting, and building a variety of real-time user interface applications for controlling our automated aircraft systems. These can range from browser-based applications to real-time embedded UIs on aviation-grade hardware. All of these applications will support our work to build a fully certified system in multiple ways: they will serve as a platform for rapidly prototyping different workflows and designs; they will be directly used in our ongoing experimental test flight programs; and they will ultimately serve as a reference implementation for our certified displays and controls. Summary pay range for Associate Level: $90,100.00 - $121,900 .00.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $110,500.00 - $149,500.00.

Summary pay range for Senior Level: $132,600.00 - $179,400.00.

Summary of the Role

The Client Success Engineer works at the intersection of software implementation, support, engineering, and education. In this role you will be the go to technical expert on how our software is deployed and used in a fast moving, complex, and critical healthcare environment. You will be instrumental in getting our solution successfully deployed, running smoothly, and continuously improving for our clients. Along the way you’ll create and revise technical content that empowers both our clients and internal teams to help themselves spread and drive maximum value from the Ascendco platform.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our software engineering team to become an expert in our current software modules and new modules as they are developed
• Help with QA, documentation, and training as new modules are developed, deployed, and operationalized
• Be a central part of the communication feedback loop between the software engineering team, internal subject matter experts, and our clients as our software continues to evolve
• Work with client IT departments to communicate technical and security specifications for how our platform is deployed and supported
• Work closely with our client success managers to help with the technical/IT aspects of implementing our platform for clients
• Protect our software engineer’s time by helping our support team with level 2 / complex support requests
• Build documentation and educational materials for how our software is deployed and used
• Spend approximately 25% of your time traveling to work onsite with other Ascenders at client facilities to help with go lives and operationalizing new modules
