Lactalis Heritage Dairy, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor based in Tulare, CA.
The Maintenance Supervisor will provide leadership to the Maintenance Department in establishing, organizing, planning, and implementing maintenance programs which will support the maintenance strategy across all three shifts of the operation.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Owner for Maintenance programs such as Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Predictive Maintenance, Equipment Overhauls, and Equipment Upgrades. -Position includes the supervision, development, training program and certification needs for the site maintenance team, and the provision of any of the technical services needed to support.
- The Maintenance Supervisor will act as coach/mentor for the Maintenance Planners and Leads for the factory to ensure deep dives into break down elimination and support preventive maintenance planning. Monitor performance of PM compliance goals. Supports Maintenance Leads to prioritize work for execution. Prioritize work as it pertains to food safety and human safety. Provide coaching to areas on equipment reliability.
- The Maintenance Supervisor will provide cross functional support with the Engineering Department for capital projects executed at the site. This will include as appropriate: cost justification, design feedback, project implementation when local labor is used, and support at startups. They will provide back-up support for projects as needed.
- This position will know, understand, enforce, and comply with the sites Environmental Policy. This position targets to support and introduce initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint.
- The supervisor ensures maintenance supports production of high-quality food products. Leveraging team members to propose and execute work that assures compliance to specifications and increases consumer satisfaction.
- The position keeps eye on cash flow per budget (MRO and labor), proposing capital projects where appropriate. Manage stockroom costs and best practices to site practices. Ensure critical spare parts and materials are available as needed.
- The supervisor will support and propose new initiatives to reduce utility costs. This can include through improved efficiency and procurement practices.
- The supervisor will pursue new technologies to improve operations on the processing lines, packaging lines and utilities equipment.
- Is critical to following up with facility team leaders on continuous cost reduction/process improvement ideas and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
- The position ensures the department is properly trained on how to execute work safely and drive improvements to eliminate any safety risks across the factory.
- Manage properly conservation systems (alarms, security, sprinklers, fire brigade, etc.).
- The candidate must comply with all federal, state, local and company regulatory guidelines. Ensure compliance to PSM guidelines. Be a key member of a HAZMAT team.
- Ensure mechanics and maintenance leads have the proper tools (equipment, training, support, etc.) to support their areas

Summary: Responsible for a variety of tasks that requires knowledge and/or ability to learn both production equipment and major utility systems. Will work closely with a Class 3 Mechanic or mentor. This is a training/apprentice level. Ability to progress and desire to learn of high importance.

2. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment in production operations, utilities, buildings & grounds, etc.

4. Effectively completes bench work utilizing common hand tools.
5. Learns to do rudimentary pipefitting of water, steam, and air lines with steel, plastic, and copper pipe materials.
6. Performs routing preventative maintenance on designated equipment. Will assist upper class mechanic on major overhauls. Learns to identify potential issues and reports these to the necessary persons.

As a Central Planner, you will be responsible for the short & mid-term capacity, inventory levels and transportation requirements of assigned product line(s) or replenishment management with the objective of maintaining established finished goods level, meeting customer service goals and efficiently utilizing manufacturing resources.

- Analyze and prepare reports on plant capacity utilization by product lines.
- Understand KPI (Key Performance Indicators) related to the position, the planning department, and cross functional impacts for best decision for the company.

- Analyze risks of dumps and downgrades and act with CS to minimize or mitigate negative impact.

In this position, the employee is responsible for processing yogurt bases. Perform CIPs and periodic equipment cleaning to ensure the highest quality standards. Receive, test, and separate raw milk, then enter test results and milk load data into SAP. Perform all raw CIPs and cleaning tasks as needed to support departmental requirements while maintaining quality standards. Additionally, perform all pasteurizer operator functions and the other duties listed below.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a 3rd shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician based in Belmont, Wisconsin. This position will require the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as individually to repair, install, adjust, or maintain production and packaging equipment. This will also include equipment that is servo-mechanical as well as electro-mechanically operated. All work needs to be done in a clean sanitary manor as required in a food manufacturing plant. Candidates must be available to work weekends.

* Repair or maintain the operating condition of the equipment used in production and packaging of a dairy product
* Align, fit, or assemble component parts and hardware, using hand or power tools

The Associate Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the Company. This position will partner with the Maintenance Manager to manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices, with an emphasis on the planning/scheduling of preventive, and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability by reducing machine downtime and unscheduled maintenance.
The Associate Maintenance Manager will partner with the Maintenance Manager to manage maintenance employees on assigned shifts to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services and support production. This includes planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing product and employee complaints and resolving problems. The Associate Maintenance Manager will carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws.

- Coordinates line maintenance changeovers to meet production schedule and customer requirements.
- Ensures the completion of all paperwork including maintenance records, incident reports and investigations and others assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintains all technical documentation on PLC's, instrumentation, and equipment (blueprints, manuals, SOP's, maintenance procedures, PM's, inventory/parts purchasing).
- Manage, train, and develop maintenance team members?through mentoring/coaching and coordination of individual developmental plans. Partners with HR on employee relations issues.
- Communicate directly with the operations and quality teams to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
- Partners with site leadership team to reduce expenses which include labor, shrink, ingredients, packaging, supplies, inventory, maintenance and overhead to acceptable levels.
- Drives efficiency improvements by engaging maintenance team members, analyzing maintenance schedule of operations, key metrics and processes.
- Manages production downtime reports, determines opportunities and creates an action plan to increase efficiencies.
