This role is responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining medical imaging and clinical applications across multiple service lines including Radiology, Cardiology, Neurology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Perinatal, and Dental. The ideal candidate will bring strong EPIC Radiant expertise, deep healthcare IT experience, and the ability to operate independently while leading projects and mentoring team members within a complex clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, implement, and maintain medical imaging and clinical application solutions.
- Serve as subject matter expert for EPIC Radiant and related imaging applications across supported service lines.
- Analyze and document complex workflow and system requirements; recommend appropriate IS solutions.
- Lead application optimization efforts including upgrades, new functionality implementation, defect resolution, and vendor release management.
- Provide day-to-day support including troubleshooting, error management, workflow configuration, integration support, and system administration.
- Develop and maintain documentation standards for configuration, integrations, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with Informatics, IT, clinical leaders, and vendors to design future-state workflows and system integrations.
- Develop detailed design specifications and build application components aligned with customer needs and software capabilities.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects and upgrades following established project management standards.
- Develop and execute complex test plans, including integrated and third-party application testing, and manage go-live validation documentation.
- Maintain CMDB documentation within ServiceNow and ensure adherence to IT standards including Change Management, Problem Management, and Data Courier processes.
- Ensure system performance, high availability, SLA compliance, and proactive monitoring of critical systems.
- Manage vendor relationships for multiple medical imaging and clinical applications.
- Mentor team members, lead service improvement initiatives, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Participate in disaster recovery testing and performance improvement initiatives across departments.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support as required.
Requirements
- EPIC Radiant certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5+ years of healthcare IT experience, preferably within medical imaging technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in EPIC Radiant and multiple medical imaging or clinical applications.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, system integrations, and data integrity practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Teams) and ServiceNow.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and supporting multiple IT applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a decentralized, multi-entity healthcare environment.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities, and high-impact production systems.

Position Requirements:
Formal Education / Training:
Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology and subsequent Accreditation through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must be in compliance with CE Requirements.
Must be registered in the subspecialty of CT or be registry eligible and pass CT registry within 8 months of hire date.
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Workplace Experience:
Preference of at least one year work experience in hospital environment working in CT/X-RAY after graduation and accreditation; however, we are willing to train.
Equipment and Skills Training:
Possesses knowledge of CT scanning and has general knowledge of many types of x-ray equipment and computers. Will train on specific equipment and processes utilized at Williamson Health. Has had training in fluoroscopy, surgery and routine studies.
Willing to perform above functions daily as need in both modalities.
Physical Environment:
Radiation safety and universal precautions practiced in a multimodality imaging department.

Possesses the ability to perform multifunctional tasks to include: physically manipulate and operate
