The Auction Operations Coordinator will work alongside the Auction Operations Manager to ensure all aspects of the process for preparing the auction.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate bid allocation for live sales on the day of the auction
• Build rapport and manage clients before and through the auction process
• Coordinate, vet, and execute bid registrations for auctions
• Ensure all auction data is correct and entered into the appropriate databases
• Work closely with Gemologists, Photographers, and others who will prepare information on all jewelry that is going to be auctioned
• Track interest through analyzing auctions pre-sale and present findings to sale teams
• Given the global nature of our business, may work outside of normal business hours or across departments (e.g., with Accounting or Operations) to assist clients with particular needs
• Provide exceptional client service in all interactions both internally and externally to clients, auctioneers, relationship managers and specialist departments
• Answer client inquiries, concerns, and problems while speaking with excellent and professional written and verbal communication (i.e phone, email)
• Serve as brand representative for the company, portraying a warm, hospitable feeling for both current and prospective clients.

Position Overview

We’re looking for someone who’s obsessed with jewelry design — not just CAD. This role is all about creating new collections, sketching concepts, building ideas with the team, and helping bring pieces to life from start to finish. You’ll also be hands-on in production: finishing, assembling, polishing, and helping push pieces from concept → final product.

Key Responsibilities:

Sophie Buhai is hiring an Associate Production Manager to join itsjewelry production team. The Associate Manager will support the production of all wholesale, e-commerce, and retail orders for the brand's jewelry, objects, and hair collections.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide key, hands-on management of all stages of the production process, including procurement, receipt, quality control, and allocation of all products and components.
• Maintain close communication with jewelers and vendors, including regular in-person visits to downtown Los Angeles and other areas in Los Angeles.

This internship will focus on media production, primarily photography, video and post production. The company has it's own in-house Media production unit for marketing on social media, email, print, and broadcast channels.

What You’ll Do

• Independently create all of Wrist Aficionado's shipping labels (for external shipments to clients and for internal shipments to our boutiques). Purchase shipping insurance according to the value of the shipment. Shipping labels are primarily created through FedEx, Ferrari Express, Malca-Amit, and USPS.
• Carefully prepare and pack all shipments that are sent from Wrist Aficionado's boutique in New York City, ensuring that all packaging meets our brand standards. Record outgoing shipments in Slack.
• Manage and monitor Slack channels to track sold and returned items, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
• Handle Hermes handbag operations across all three boutiques: inspect condition, photograph, and list products on Jewels Aficionado's website.
• As needed: accept and process new inventory, confirming item details and updating internal systems.
• As needed: coordinate and facilitate watch repairs, communicating with repair vendors and tracking service timelines.
