Interim Director of Imaging Needed in a Great Location!
The Position
- An Interim Director of Imaging is needed to provide strategic and operational leadership across three imaging departments in western Kansas.
- Key responsibilities include overseeing imaging services across assigned locations; managing staffing and resource utilization; ensuring regulatory compliance and OP10 adherence; improving patient experience; collaborating closely with physicians and providers to reduce delays; and troubleshooting operational challenges across all modalities.
- The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on imaging leadership experience with the ability to oversee full-scope radiology services, optimize workflows, support staff development, and foster strong communication with providers and patients. The candidate must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Active state licensure required; ARRT or other relevant imaging certification preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressive imaging leadership experience overseeing multiple modalities, with demonstrated success in multi-site operations and physician collaboration.

Pay Details
- Pay Range: $160,000 - $170,000 annually.

Position Overview:Primary responsibility includes planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the diagnostic Imaging Services for the assigned hospitals. Activities included are performance of all diagnostic medical imaging processes in the hospital to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Essential Job Functions:- Work with hospital administration and clinical consultant(s) on planning, organizing and directing Imaging Services operations and ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Make rounds in the Imaging Services areas to judge effectiveness of operation, utilization of personnel and supplies, and general ethical and professional atmosphere.
- Secure and maintain the physical facilities, equipment and supplies which are required to carry out effective patient care and create an optimum physical environment.
- Initiate and actuate improved methods of services and direct their implementation.
- Responsible for the fiscal operation of the department.
- Communicate appropriately and clearly to physicians, staff and administration.
- Interact professionally with patient/family.

PetSmart’s Pet Stylist in Training is responsible for engaging with pet parents and their pets while providing positive experiences and best in class salon services. This position will receive training and guidance from our experienced Professional Styling teams, learning from the best in the industry on proper grooming techniques. This role also shares responsibility of store cleanliness, recommending of solutions for pet parents, and pet safety standards.
Pet Stylist in Training role is obtained once the associate has successfully completed the PetSmart Grooming Academy.
Essential Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following and may vary depending on store characteristics and needs:
- While under supervision, performs full menu of bath, brush and grooming services and standalone services, such as nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services in accordance with PetSmart’s bathing standards and procedures.
- Develop and display safe technical skills that will meet or exceed the company's minimum expectations.
- Recommends additional health and wellness solutions with Pet Parents based on pet’s needs.
- Responsible for the pet parent experience and outcomes conducted in person, over the phone and at the sales register.
- Greets pet parents, answers their questions, and assists with making reservations in the salon.
- Conducts salon appointment reminder calls, maintains client records and consults with pet parents on services offered.
- Performs check-in and check-out procedures for grooming appointments, including applicable paperwork and rebooking.
- Promotes opportunities to grow salon sales to help achieve sales targets and productivity, and any other relevant salon metrics.
- Recommends, informs, and sells merchandise and services.
- Maintains the highest level of cleanliness, sanitation, and humane conditions for all pets in the grooming area, by performing maintenance throughout the day including end of day cleaning in accordance with the maintenance checklist.
- Responsible for taking immediate action when a sick/injured pet is identified in the store; transport to the vet as needed.

Qualifications

This role is responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining medical imaging and clinical applications across multiple service lines including Radiology, Cardiology, Neurology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Perinatal, and Dental. Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, implement, and maintain medical imaging and clinical application solutions.
- Serve as subject matter expert for EPIC Radiant and related imaging applications across supported service lines.
- Analyze and document complex workflow and system requirements; recommend appropriate IS solutions.
- Lead application optimization efforts including upgrades, new functionality implementation, defect resolution, and vendor release management.
- Provide day-to-day support including troubleshooting, error management, workflow configuration, integration support, and system administration.

Requirements
- EPIC Radiant certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Responsibilities
An Imaging Technician III maintains complex medical equipment through effective implementation of the Mayo Clinic Medical Equipment Management Plan. The technician must demonstrate technical skills and tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, repair and QA of x-ray, imaging, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, and imaging-related systems typically found in Radiology, Surgery and Cardiology.
Technicians in this position must be exceptionally customer focused with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to prioritize service calls appropriately and adhere to Mayo policy and procedure. The technician must adhere to rules, regulations, and policies regarding radiation safety, stored energy safety, and contingency plans in the event of equipment failure. They must also carefully monitor the potential for radiation exposure and work to eliminate unnecessary exposure. They must have advanced analytical skills and be able to solve very complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Service calls are communicated to the technician through HTM Leadership, HTM Support Specialists, or a CMMS dashboard. Emergent calls directly from the customer often require a rapid response time. On-call, overtime, and non-standard shifts will be required, as well as travel to other Mayo Clinic sites and applicable vendor training.
The technician must be committed to continuously improving their knowledge to develop a mastery of increasingly complex equipment and to support the mission of Mayo Clinic.
A Technician III will have a mastery of imaging repair principles, can demonstrate success in the most complex of imaging repairs, and will often work with and share knowledge with less experienced technicians.
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Electronics/Healthcare Technology Management, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Engineering (mechanical/computer/electronics) and 3 years of related experience; or an Associate's degree in Biomedical Electronics/Healthcare Technology Management, Electronics, Mechatronics, Engineering (mechanical/computer/electronics), or technical discipline and 5 years of related experience; or U.S. Military training in biomedical electronics, mechatronics, or engineering (mechanical/computer/electronics) and 5 years of related experience. Related experience includes role-relevant equipment repair with a demonstrated increase in responsibility and exposure to highest complexity equipment and must include at least 3 years of maintaining imaging or x-ray systems.
