Production Manager
Job Description
Horner International’s Durham, NC plant manufactures natural botanical flavors for food and beverage manufacturers in over 30 countries. Our production is a blend art and science that harnesses heating, cooling, vacuum, tanks, pumps, motors and secret methods honed over decades. Our sales are growing briskly, and we are seeking a candidate to manage operators and leads in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Daily Tasks
- Schedule shifts and operators for various phases of production.
- Communicate with Maintenance to insure proper equipment functioning and minimize down-time.
- Support Quality Control by insuring consistent monitoring of in-process quality parameters.
Team Participation
- Advise and assist management in installation of new production capacity.
- Sustain ongoing project to further automate current equipment.

- Electric and Air Motors
- Vacuum Pumps
Requirements
- Experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment, such as chemicals, pharma, food, or petroleum.
- Knowledge of one or more industrial processes such as distillation, separation, extraction, HVAC, blending, packaging, or drying.
- Drive to uphold a high quality standard
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
