*About the Opportunity:*

SMT is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel with 8–25+ years of experience to join, lead, and develop our growing litigation team in our Santa Rosa office. The candidate must have first or second chair trial experience and be adept at managing high-exposure complex litigation matters.

The candidate should have the ability to independently manage multiple litigation matters while collaborating with our team of subject matter experts. Overview

The Practice

Our litigation practice spans commercial disputes, regulatory enforcement, and public law matters affecting businesses and organizations across industries. The associate will support — and, as appropriate, take lead responsibility in — matters that include:

  • Commercial and corporate litigation, including contract disputes, fiduciary duty claims, and business tort matters
  • Partnership, shareholder, and governance disputes
  • Regulatory investigations and enforcement actions at the state and federal level
  • Administrative proceedings and writ petitions challenging agency action
  • Appellate matters and pre-litigation strategic counseling

The Senior D365 Business Analyst is a trusted functional leader for the D365 Finance & Operations ERP platform, responsible for balancing day-to-day operational support with strategic delivery. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience delivering $10M – $20M Commercial and Large-Scale Multi-Family projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Proven ability to manage project profitability, schedule integrity, risk mitigation, and owner satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of AIA contracts, change management, and cost control practices.
  • Experience leading Project Managers, Project Engineers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong financial forecasting and executive-level communication skills.


Working Environment

This role will primarily be in an office environment based in our Springfield, Missouri headquarters, or at the job site. Assigned projects may require the Project Manager to be on-site for extended durations, and occasional travel is to be expected.


Physical Requirements:
