We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join a large firms Houston office. This role supports attorneys in state and federal litigation, providing high-level administrative and document management support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and assist with court filings
- E-file with state and federal courts
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files
- Open new client/matter files and maintain client contacts
- Manage calendars, travel, and meeting logistics
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a litigation secretary
- Strong knowledge of court rules and filing procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and document management systems (e.g., NetDocs, Aderant)
- Skilled in remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx)
- Excellent organizational, proofreading, and multitasking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently

The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients on a broad range of employment matters, including employment-related aspects of corporate transactions, drafting employment, separation, and restrictive covenant agreements, and providing day-to-day counseling on workplace issues. The annual base salary ranges from $260,000 to $420,000, depending on factors including year classification, graduation year, skills, and overall experience.
