The Payroll Administrator at Stella-Jones will be responsible for paying employees located in multiple U.S. states, managing the payroll preparation, completing reports, and maintaining records. This role reports to our Payroll Manager in the United States.
This position will be based at our regional HQ office in Tacoma, Washington. This will be hybrid role once a period of training and integration into the team is complete.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for multi-state bi-weekly payroll for 2,500+ employees by entering, maintaining, and processing information in the payroll system; information may include commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions and or information.
- Responsible for multi-state bi-weekly payroll by confirming employee’s hourly rates, salaries, pay class, and other fields in Employment Settings.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, promotions, transfers and terminations.
- Processes payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Reconciles payroll to the general ledger on a bi-weekly basis, 941’s on a quarterly basis, and 940, ACA 1095, and W2s on an annual basis.
- Issues, or reissues, physical checks, or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll software, systems, and procedures.
- Responsible for training HR Managers on how to train Managers to use Time and Labor system.
- Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
- Reconciles all benefit invoices for accuracy on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for accurate monthly payments of all company benefits and COBRA administration.
- Understand and adhere to any information security and privacy responsibilities as detailed in the Information Resource Usage Policy, Employee Manual, and client-specific publications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a Payroll position (Administrator, Clerk, Coordinator, Specialist, etc.) or a similar Accounting-related role required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field preferred
- CPP or other payroll-related certifications a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Ceridian/Dayforce or similar payroll systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Duty 1: Responsible for the maintenance activities at all Remote BVHS locations / facilities.
Remote locations are both Commercial and Residential.
Excluding Findlay and Bluffton hospitals, there are approximately 30 locations to be maintained.
This includes leased locations where BVHS has maintenance responsibilities.
Duty 2: In conjunction with Supervisor and/or Manager of Facility Services, coordinates with internal resources (HVAC Technicians, Electricians, and Fire Safety Specialist) along with Contractors to fulfill repairs, as needed, based on skillset and scope of work.
Duty 3: Performs plumbing duties as required: 1) Performs troubleshooting to diagnose potential problems and makes necessary repairs to pumps, couplings, seals, valves, piping, steam traps and related equipment.
2) Performs pipefitting such as cutting and threading, solder and brazing, use of manual threading machine and assorted gas torches.
3) Performs installation and layout of various plumbing systems, steam, water, gas and oil.
4) Demonstrates initiative with keeping updated and informed on new systems and equipment.
Duty 4: Performs electrical duties as required: 1) Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and installs electronic, electrical circuits and related equipment.
2) Performs installation and repairs on electrical circuits of 12V to 277V AC/DC.
3) Performs installation and repairs to electrical control circuitry on machinery and mechanical systems.
4) Performs general troubleshooting and repairs on nurse call system.
5) Shares knowledge and changes made to electrical systems with others.
6) Ability to use electrical testing and measuring equipment.
7) Maintains a good understanding of the electrical distribution system and locations of disconnects and shut-offs for areas served.
8) Maintains safety by following Energy Control Procedures and Arc Flash guidelines.
9) Understands emergency power distribution and generator monthly load tests.
Duty 5: Performs mechanical duties as required: 1) Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.
2) Performs troubleshooting and repairs to machinery and mechanical equipment such as bearings, motors, pumps, seals, couplings and related equipment.
3) Ability to install, set-up, calibrate, program controls and process within the building automated system.
4) Performs preventative maintenance on schedule to prevent potential problems.
5) Understands the lay-out and distribution of mechanical systems such as air handlers, medical gases, pneumatic system, chillers, boilers, heating water, cooling water and minor refrigeration.
Duty 6: Maintains communication systems as required: 1) Performs troubleshooting, repairs to nurse call systems and related devices, televisions, paging system and fire alarm systems and devices.
Duty 7: Assesses and maintains architectural structure of the facilities.
Ensures exterior building issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Duty 8: Ensures a safe and comfortable environment for patient, staff and visitors.
1) Demonstrates geographic knowledge and locations of system shut-offs throughout the hospital in the event of an emergency.
2) Changes faulty lights, ballasts, outlets and switches promptly to ensure a safe environment.
3) Performs inspection tours as scheduled with the ability to foresee and notice abnormalities in the operation of mechanical equipment.
4) Participates in hospital and department in-service education and training programs.
5) Arranges storage and retrieval of equipment and furniture.
Duty 9: Accepts and responds to emergencies, codes, fire, and disasters.
1) Responds to all fire alarms as described in the department policy and procedure manual.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma.
Minimum of 5 consecutive years’ experience in mechanical field.

Knowledge of institutional maintenance principles and techniques including applicable local, state and federal codes (i.e., building, plumbing, electrical) Approximately three to five years progressively more responsible related work experience in an institutional setting necessary to gain advanced knowledge of maintenance and engineering as it relates to facility operations and be able to coordinate planning of preventative maintenance activities.
Thorough knowledge of hand/power tools and testing instruments.
Working knowledge of mechanical equipment, electricity, and plumbing.
General knowledge of HVAC systems and fire alarm systems.
May be required to work any shift, fixed or rotated and days off may be fixed or rotated.

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to own and lead the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, including revenue recognition, billing integrity, and Accounts Receivable.
This role is critical to supporting continued growth and ensuring compliance with ASC 606 across a complex SaaS revenue model.
The Revenue Accounting Manager will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success teams, and will play a key role in month-end close, process improvement, and system automation.
This role does not have direct reports but operates at a manager level with high ownership and autonomy.
This position reports to senior leadership within Accounting.

Work Environment Hybrid (2 days onsite) or fully remote for the right candidate Denver/Boulder area preferred for local candidates Flexible work culture focused on outcomes, not hours Collaborative, growth-oriented finance and accounting team Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 (exceptional candidates may be considered above range) Equity/stock units available depending on level Competitive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and company holidays Company events, team offsites, and a strong culture of growth and recognition Job Details Key Responsibilities Revenue Recognition & Close Own end-to-end revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 across multiple revenue streams (subscription, usage-based, implementation, and ancillary services) Prepare and review monthly journal entries related to revenue, deferred revenue, and accrued receivables Support and execute the revenue portion of the monthly close process Accounts Receivable & Billing Own the AR sub-ledger, including invoicing, collections, and cash application Ensure timely, accurate invoice generation through subscription and billing platforms Participate in customer collections efforts as needed (manager-level involvement) Systems & Process Improvement Manage and improve integrations between billing/subscription tools and the ERP to reduce manual entries and improve data integrity Drive automation and scalable processes within revenue and AR workflows Partner with Finance on commissions (ASC 340), churn analysis, and revenue-related reporting inputs Cross-Functional Partnership Serve as the primary accounting contact for Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success on contract structure, billing questions, and customer disputes Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance leadership to carve out and manage all revenue-related activity Audit & Compliance Act as the main point of contact for external auditors for revenue and AR-related matters Maintain documentation, schedules, and internal control support Qualifications Required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience 3+ years focused on SaaS revenue recognition and Accounts Receivable Strong, hands-on expertise with ASC 606 Experience owning the full AR lifecycle (invoicing, collections, cash application) Background in software or SaaS billing environments Experience working with ERPs beyond QuickBooks (e.g., Sage Intacct or similar) Experience with subscription and billing platforms (e.g., Stripe, recurring billing tools) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Highly independent, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced growth environment Preferred Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) CPA Experience in PE-backed or high-growth SaaS organizations Interested in hearing more? The hourly compensation range for this role is $20.19 o $21.68.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
