Position Description: As a newly hired sales professional, you'll join our comprehensive sales training program, blending online classes with hands-on field training and mentorship in your assigned area.

Your field trainer will cover basic sales cycles and advanced techniques.

Prior sales experience is appreciated but not required; we will always prioritize training the right person.

You'll manage your local territory, engaging with small to medium-sized businesses across different sectors.

This involves in-person meetings with owners and decision-makers, introducing them to tailored supplemental insurance solutions.

You'll work with individuals and conduct group presentations for 5 to 50+ employees.

Core Responsibilities:
* Utilize our customized Salesforce CRM to curate leads and generate clients while expanding your professional network within your territory and neighboring communities
* Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text as needed
* Schedule meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their insurance needs
* Attend scheduled calls and meetings with your sales manager and team
* Personally visit new businesses, develop relationships with local business owners, follow up on referral leads, and reservice existing clients
* Build and nurture your own client portfolio
* Collaborate with your sales team manager to set monthly and quarterly sales targets for yourself
* Plan and adhere to your weekly schedule and working hours; submit your schedule to your sales team manager each week

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMPETENCIES:

• Begins to nurture, build and cultivate direct-to-seniors and business-to-business partnerships to generate new patient opportunities year-round.
• Meets with individual seniors and groups in their homes, workplaces, houses of worship, senior centers or living communities to share the ChenMed value proposition.
• Start planing, coordinating and executing local events within the community (e.g., information tables, health fairs, doc talks, etc.) to help reach our ideal patients (i.e., medically underserved, Medicare-eligible seniors, age 55 and older).
• Start cultivateing strong relationships with health plan agents, individual insurance agents, social workers, case workers, senior housing managers, senior centers and related community providers to keep ChenMed/JenCare Medical Centers as their top provider choice for senior healthcare when referring patients to a primary care physician.
• Partners with community officials, businesses and senior outreach programs to develop initiatives that will appropriately drive new patient growth.
• Schedules one-on-one sales meetings, referral relationships with Plan agents, independent brokers and the senior community to delivers solutions on immediate customer requests. Manages vendors as related to event planning and negotiating contracts with venues where events are taking place.
• Ensures insurance agents and/or brokers are invited to community events to ensure timely patient assignment to ChenMed/JenCare Medical Centers.
• Learns to use  marketing and sales tools to identify solutions and sell to new customers. Maintains up-to-date client information in designated customer relationship management (CRM) tool (i.e., SalesForce). Utilizes CRM tool to document interactions with clients and ensures effective management of leads.
• Provides monthly activity calendar reflecting community access points and new tabletop venues. Creates penetration plans and initiatives in key target markets and channels.
• Recovers dormant customers via sales tools and marketing campaigns.
• Drives new member growth by appropriately educating potential patients on our value proposition and healthcare model. Delivers prescribed presentation in front of large audiences.
• Develops distribution channels to support new patient enrollment growth. Uses all sales tools provided to ensure efficiency and collection of pertinent data.
• Partners with sales leadership to improve effectiveness of engagements with distributors, vendors and community partners.
• Builds trusting relationships with brokers/insurance agents/case workers/third party vendors associated with seniors with supervision Develops and executes specific broker and partner strategies and plans.
• Engages with new patients through and beyond their first appointment. Maintains relationships with enrolled patients to positively impact retention. Helps address and resolve customer complaints and issues as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field OR additional combination of formal education, training and experience above the minimum will be considered in lieu of the education on a year-for-year basis.
• A minimum of 6 years of successful sales experience required. Working with seniors a plus, as is a general understanding of Medicare Advantage
• A minimum of 4 years of business-to-business experience or equivalent management experience preferred
• Relevant sales experience with establishing and maintaining relationship with business/vendor partners
• Experience in tele sales to input sales data into a computer while on the telephone with a customer
• This position requires possession and maintenance of a current, valid Driver’s License

PAY RANGE:

The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.

The ideal candidate is an energetic individual, a team player, and can provide services necessary for the efficient operation of Ameraflex. This is an In-Person position with operating hours of M-F, 8AM-5PM. This position will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Purchase Orders (POs):

Create PO's, process requisitions and place orders for necessary goods, materials and services:

• Create separate PO’s for sales orders and stock items.
• Verify pricing, due dates and shipping methods (Ship Via) are correct before finalizing each PO.
• Select the best vendor for each purchase, unless a specific manufacturer is required. (‘best vendor’ is defined by price, availability, quality, etc.)
• Ensure material surplus was checked prior to placing PO.
• Ensure receipt of confirmation from vendor on each PO.
• Attach confirmation to each PO in ERD system.
• Inform salesperson if there are any discrepancies with PO (quantity, price, lead times).
• Attach any certificates to PO.
• Assist with min/ max stock levels.
• Assist with stock purchases for raw goods.

Quotes

Prepare quotes for Sales team members and/ or for required stock parts:

• Source and evaluate multiple quotes for best price, quality, reliability, and lead times. 

Return Material Authorizations (RMA)

Complete an RMA on materials that need to be returned to the vendor:

• Communications with the vendor.
• Completion of the paperwork.
• Ensure delivery to our Expeditor for further processing.

 Documentation:

• Review the MSDS Book regularly to ensure it is up-to-date and includes MSDS sheets on all products and materials.
• Collect RoHs, Reach, Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, PFAS and TSCA documentation from vendors.

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with vendors, both new and current.
• Research and evaluate potential vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery times. 
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to obtain the best possible value for the company.
• Create and maintain a vendor rating program, including defining key performance indicators to improve the company’s procurement efficiency and vendor relationships.

Miscellaneous Duties:

• Assist with receiving POs for direct shipments and stage in ERP System.
• Assist with attaching spec sheets and pictures of parts.
• Cover other purchasing responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate’s degree (two years of college) preferred
• MUST have 3 to 5 years of working knowledge in purchasing sealing products pertaining to the Oil & Gas and Marine industries.

• Pay will depend on working knowledge and experience.
