We have the following positions available:

Class A or B CDL Truck Driver (Home Nightly) - $21.00/hr with a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus ($3,000 payable at 90 days and $2,000 at 1 year).

- Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a vehicle to deliver hardgoods, compressed cylinders, and associated products.

Cylinder Processor (Warehouse Associate) - $20.00/hr

- Responsible for performing duties associated with filling, labeling & preparing low pressure packaged gas cylinders and maintaining the cryogenic liquid filling system.

AI Engineers, Inc. (AIE) is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our Construction Engineering Inspection services team supporting projects in New York and the surrounding metro area. This position will oversee projects, including those for LIRR, MNR, Amtrak, and similar clients. Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York.
• 8+ years in construction project management or resident engineering and inspection on railroad, MNR, Amtrak, or LIRR projects
• Knowledge of New York state-specific regulations and construction practices.
• Strong familiarity with railroad construction and maintenance standards, including FRA, MNR, Amtrak, LIRR, freight and short-line railroad specifications, preferred.
• CCM or NICET IV certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction and inspection activities onsite for railroad projects, ensuring contractor adherence to project goals, including cost, schedule, and quality.
• Direct oversite of contractor activities and daily field operations
• Coordinate outages, safety, access and account activities
• Act as a liaison between contractors, design staff, and stakeholders to address RFIs and review shop drawings.
• Conduct technical reviews of construction plans, specifications, and project modifications for constructability and practicality.
• Management of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and payment applications
• Manage the contractor payment process, recommending adjustments as needed to maintain budgetary control.
• Ensure site safety compliance and coordination with stakeholders, including local agencies and clients.
• Monitor contractor performance and resolve issues related to schedule, quality, or other project challenges.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports, correspondence, and other deliverables as required by the client.

• Strong technical and managerial skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.
• A self-starter with the ability to work with project teams and manage multiple and concurrent tasks/assignments
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage the inspection duties in the field.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing asset level leasing strategies and operational initiatives to maximize value.

We are seeking a full-time Superintendent who will ensure all projects exceed expectations and meet James E. Fitzgerald’s standard for quality.

• Manage day-to-day field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, and quality control.
• Heavy communication with the Project Manager and client representatives to review project status and progress on a regular basis.
• Ensure safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by laborers and subcontractors.
• Direct supervision of site staff, including assistant superintendents, laborers, and other construction-related personnel with open communication regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and any deviation in the direction of the project.
• Management of schedule, including weekly preparation of two week look ahead deliverables.
• Run weekly meetings, including project and subcontractor meetings.
• Manage subcontractor coordination to ensure completion of the project in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections.
• Ensure assigned job site operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Maintain and review punch list process to ensure all are addressed and executed in a timely manner.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Superintendent, preferably in the interior, high-end commercial general contracting.
