As the General Manager (GM ), you're the ultimate leader of the store-setting the vision, driving results, and inspiring your team , every day. You 'll take ownership of everything from daily operations and store profitability to team development and customer satisfaction. With your leadership, your team will work together to hit performance goals and grow the business to ultimately create an unforgettable experience for our customers and Associates alike.
What You'll Do :
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring safety, service, and efficiency while maintaining compliance with audits, policies, and all regulations.
Own accountability to meet or exceed performance targets by reviewing financial reports and executing merchandise and inventory plans. Analyze trends, control costs, reduce waste, and manage cash procedures to ensure profitability.
Monitor trends and proactively collaborate with peers to develop action plans that drive optimal results.
Ensure store-wide safety, service, and operational excellence by executing policies, driving compliance, managing safety programs, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Champion company initiatives, communicate the why behind changes, and ensure successful implementation and long-term adoption of programs and processes.
Create an inclusive, collaborative team culture focused on achievement, motivation and customer service.
Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, and ongoing feedback. Support leadership development and drive a culture of excellence through formal talent management processes , training and onboarding.
Maintain proper coverage in a 24/7 environment through s trategic scheduling and resource allocation .
Ensure a seamless and satisfying shopping experience by actively responding to customer feedback, resolving issues, and creating plans to exceed expectations.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Flexible availability to work various shifts , including weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs
Proven leadership experience in fast-paced retail, food service , or fuel environments
Proven ability to coach, develop , and inspire career growth in individuals
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making
Solid understanding of store financials and their impact on business performance

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Flagger is responsible for directing the flow of traffic around construction sites, road maintenance areas, and other work zones. This role involves setting up and taking down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades to ensure the safety of workers and the public. The Flagger uses hand signals, signs, and other traffic control devices to communicate with motorists and guide them safely through or around the work area. The position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the capability to stand for extended periods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
- Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios.
- Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms for up to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items over 50 pounds.
- Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles.
- Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check.
- Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
- Wear proper safety equipment (work boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest).
- Operate 2-way radio.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings.
- Provide effective communication with contractors and internal teams while delivering the highest level of customer service.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Must have excellent attendance, reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic.
- Successfully complete the ATSSA Flagger training course and company-sponsored Defensive Driver training.
- Willingness to travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects.
- Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule.
