The Gardens Mall is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join a best-in-class team at the Palm Beach Gardens luxury shopping destination. The Marketing Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring The Gardens Mall and its 150+ global brands and restaurants continue their 30 plus-year reputation of presenting new and unparalleled shopping and dining experiences.


The Gardens Mall is owned and operated by The Forbes Company, a nationally-recognized owner, developer and manager of iconic regional shopping centers. In addition to The Gardens Mall, these properties include: Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan, and The Mall at Millenia and Waterside Shops in Florida.  While the Marketing/Social Media Assistant position is dedicated to The Gardens Mall, this role will interface and collaborate with The Forbes Company’s national marketing team.

 

The Marketing Assistant will primarily support event management, digital media and marketing administration for The Gardens Mall and in support of its 150+ merchants and restaurants, and will complete all tasks as assigned to support the day-to-day center activity. Critical to this role is the ability and passion for cultivating relationships with merchants to help drive store sales and with community partners to drive brand awareness and mall traffic.

 

Details about these responsibilities are outlined below.


Event Management

  • Event planning and support including mall sponsored events, retailer support-based events, fundraising community events, and tourism events
  • Event reporting to outline return on investment, retailer/partner results, media exposure, photos and enhancement recommendations
  • Seasonal programs (Ex: Bunny and Santa photo operations) oversight and support
  • Style Club Program support for operations and activations


Digital Media

·        Social media planning and implementation including social media calendar development, engagement on multiple platforms, advertising and analytics reporting

·        Website management including content updates

·        E-mail marketing management including distribution of the mall’s corporate e-newsletter as well as coordination to support merchant promotion eblasts.


Marketing Administration

·        Day-to-day coordination of marketing initiatives for The Gardens Mall and its 150+ merchants
