Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role located in St. Joseph, MO, for a Sales Executive. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Daily activities will involve developing and presenting sales proposals, following up with leads, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs and company objectives. Maintaining a deep understanding of our products and their applications will be paramount to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote products and value-added services to meet or exceed individual and company goals.

• Identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, emails, networking, and social media.

• Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate contract packaging and co-manufacturing services and engage the potential customers in relevant sales campaigns to build new relationships.

• Meet consistently with internal team to keep up to date on capacity and preferred project requirements for the various locations.

• Identify opportunities and present solutions offered by the organization that meet the customer's needs.

• Develop and provide custom presentations and business reviews on RitePack solutions that could impact customer growth opportunities.

• Create a personal network and represent the organization at business sector events and Trade Shows to enhance the company brand.

• Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints and proactively strive for resolutions in a timely manner.

• Act as liaison between external and internal customers. Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Teams and Apollo

• Actively leverage sales technology and tools to meet strategic account planning objectives and maximize customer and segment growth potential.

• Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales competencies and further expand ability to effectively generate profitable customer and segment growth.

• Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Teams and Apollo

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in contract packaging and co-manufacturing is strongly preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

• Excellent verbal, written, people and diplomacy skills required.

·  Ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners.

• Ability to persuade, negotiate and sell.

• Strong problem solving skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices.

• Travel required may be requested to perform other duties as assigned.

• Territory sales or account management experience preferred.

Work Experience

• 5-10 years of sales experience.

•  3-5 years relevant industry sales experience preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• A significant portion of the job responsibilities will require computer work that involves the continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and sitting for long periods of time.

• The position may require lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

• The position requires work in an office as well as travel to customers, suppliers, group meetings, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

• 6-10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing or operations
• Experience in precision manufacturing, composites, or similar performance-driven industries
• Proven success improving throughput and reducing lead times using lean methodologies
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP/MRP systems
• Experience managing high SKU counts and seasonal demand
• Experience working in small to mid-sized manufacturing environments

Leadership & Skills

• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and production planning
• Data-driven decision-making and operational analytics capability
• Proven ability to lead teams through operational improvements and change
