The Opportunity

MML Investors Services is looking for a Suitability Principal who understands the needs of our sophisticated financial advisors and their staff. The principal is responsible for managing time-sensitive and frequently escalated cases with confidence and professionalism, consistently prioritizing the needs of our advisors and their clients. The Team

As the Broker-Dealer (BD) and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) arm of MassMutual’s Wealth Management organization, we have grown significantly over recent years. This will remain among our top strategic pillars. To best align and support this growth, we have segmented the service and operations facets to exclusively support our top-tier advisors. Branded Society 1851 Wealth Management, our strategy includes growing and retaining our experienced advisor population through MassMutual agencies across the country. We aim to support our advisors with white glove, comprehensive service to help them expand and scale their practices. Our culture embraces a team mentality and thrives on effective collaboration, strong business acumen, and a laser focus on eloquent and detailed communication. The team of about 20 associates, both FINRA-licensed and unlicensed, executes on daily back-office operations aimed at enhancing the advisor experience.   

The Impact

The In Force team will deliver education and drive readiness in an ever-changing, fast paced environment. You must ensure the team is well positioned to support the day-to-day execution of often complex securities transactions and delivering strong individual production results. Additionally, you will provide exceptional service to advisors and their staff while also contributing to strategic ‘Making it Easier’ initiatives. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills along with the ability to learn, adapt, all while being the ‘go-to’ for a talented and dynamic team.

The Minimum Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 7 & 24 required at time of application

  • 3+ years MMLIS experience and / or 4+ years' experience with Brokerage/ Money Movement transactions

  • High School Diploma/GED/HiSET

  • Principals working 100% remotely may be subject to on-site inspection by MML and/or regulators

  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of MassMutual office will be expected to work a Hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in the Springfield office

The Impact

As a Risk Management Consultant your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Perform trade surveillance and monitoring activities while appropriately documenting and proactively identifying potential risks and/or violations of policies or regulations specifically within the firm’s trade review systems.

  • Collaborate with trending department, field management, and business partners as needed to assist with development of corrective action plans designed to eliminate or reduce potential risks.

  • Regularly monitor and communicate surveillance or sales practice trends to relevant business partners and senior management. 

  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet or exceed Firm benchmarks for timeliness and productivity.

The Role:

  • Act as a liaison between the Legal Department and Human Resources for all contract issues and reviews
  • Act as a subject matter expert for clients and consultants on the various legal status classifications
  • Schedule communications to consultants with regards to payment processing and timesheet deadlines
  • Manage the client/consultant onboarding and renewal process while complying with internal policy and ISO management standards
  • Develop and update strategies for a smoother consultant and client experience
  • Serve as a primary point of contact to investigate and resolve consultant, client, and vendor inquires
  • Assist external managers in determining total billable rates for all new pre-identified candidates
  • Complete candidate submissions and finalize onboarding activities within the VMS portals
  • Conduct quarterly audits on consultant documentation and onboarding requirements
  • Monitor expiring contracts and provide notice for a smooth off-boarding experience
  • Investigate AR discrepancies and follow up with the client or contractor as needed
  • Serve as a primary point of contact to receive, investigate and resolve consultant, sub-vendor, and client questions relating to the billing and payment of invoices
  • Create credit/debit memos to balance records within the Vendor Management System Fieldglass


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a customer service or sales support role

Job Summary


The Junior Account Manager is responsible for selling Prometheus Group products and services to new and existing Prometheus Group customers as well as developing pipeline to drive revenue growth.


Responsibilities


  • Sales and Territory Development
  • Achieve or exceed quota targets.
  • Develop effective and specific opportunity/account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth
  • Establish and maintain key relationships at multiple levels within the assigned accounts
  • Develop and deliver overviews, presentations, and coordinate high level functional product demonstrations to new and existing accounts.
  • Participate in the development of the assigned region, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling and sales cycles.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of a comprehensive business case to address customer and prospect priorities and pain points.
  • Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. Keep pipeline current and moving up the pipeline curve.
  • Support all Prometheus promotions and events in the assigned region.
  • Maintain SalesForce system with accurate customer and pipeline information.
  • Territory Development
  • Find and nurture opportunities for company’s solutions by cold calling into targeted companies and following up with leads
  • Work in coordination with Account Executives to target high value prospects in assigned territory Generate a sufficient number of new opportunities per month
  • Articulate business value to prospects
  • Gather prospects needs and understand their initiatives as they relate to the solution
  • Occasionally travel for trade shows and travel to customers
  • Document all activity related to accounts using
  • Keep current with industry knowledge and best practices to effectively communicate with prospects


Skills and Experience


  • B.S/B.A. in Business, Communication or related field
  • 2-4 years’ sales experience within software
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, excellent communicator
  • High energy, self-starter who can learn quickly and easily engage clients
  • Able to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as within a team
  • Foreign language skills a plus
