Position Responsibilities:
- Provide a great experience by engaging with guests utilizing your acquired skills and training.
- Assist guests' selection and recommendation of merchandise and services in accordance with their identified needs.
- Demonstrate a high level of interest in the welfare, health, and proper handling of all animals.
- Process register transactions and create a great experience for each guest.
- Generate future business through a deep understanding of the guests and their pet/s and connection to our digital platforms.
- Perform related duties in support of the Pet Care Center attaining its assigned sales goals.
- Ensure merchandise is stocked, priced, and displayed to create a great presentation for our guests.
- Completes and applies training programs to maintain a high level of expertise of their role.
- Adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Evaluate guest inquiries and as needed refers to the Leader on Duty.
Other Essential Duties:
- Utilize selling behaviors. You're the key to providing an amazing guest experience within our Pet Care Locations. Utilizing the behaviors within our Sales Model is critical to being able to identify and solve for their needs both today and in the future.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of sales experience is required for this position. Qualified applicants will possess a high level of knowledge of pet nutrition and an aptitude for sales techniques. In addition to having a professional appearance and demeanor, applicants must also demonstrate a keen and genuine interest in animals and their care. Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the nature of interaction with the public and other partners and leaders within the store.
Certification:
- Completing and maintaining of the appropriate specialist level of the Petco Certification program is required in this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior pet nutrition experience and working with and/or caring for pets recommended.

Work Environment:
- The majority of job duties are conducted indoors, although merchandise receiving, merchandise carry-outs, or stock balancing will require leaving the store briefly. This position requires bending, kneeling, moving merchandise and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and pull 2000 lbs utilizing material handling equipment. Improper use of safety equipment and/or not following proper lifting techniques may pose a risk of injury to customers, pets, and Pet Care Center personnel. Follow all safety precautions and procedures. Must be available for shifts on evenings, weekends, and some overnights and holidays.

How you’ll contribute
A Clinical Liaison (CL)who excels in this role:
- Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts.
- Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program.
- Build relationships with referral sources within the assigned territory through in-person outreach.
- Identify and address barriers to the admission process in collaboration with the program director.
- Maintain face-to-face contact with patients, families, and referral sources in the market territory.
- Conduct in-person in-services and presentations to educate stakeholders on available programs and services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a current state clinical license and possess a 2-year degree in healthcare. Additional requirements include:
- Minimum 2-year degree required. Bachelor’s degree in a health-related, business, or marketing field preferred.
- Previous experience in clinical liaison, marketing, or healthcare sales preferred.
- Current license to practice as required by applicable state licensure regulations.

We are seeking a team-oriented, hands-on Plant Manager with a robust background in maintenance leadership. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, with a particular emphasis on developing and executing a world-class maintenance program at our mill in St. Maries, Idaho. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement, ensuring the facility meets production goals while maintaining the highest standards of equipment reliability and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the plant’s manufacturing and maintenance operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance programs, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Direct and develop a multidisciplinary team, including Maintenance Planners, Millwrights, Electricians, Mechanics, and Production Supervisors.
- Foster a “Safety First” culture, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and serving as a role model for safe industrial behavior.
- Collaborate with other departments (Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Resources) to align plant performance with company goals and market demands.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices in manufacturing and maintenance to optimize resources and processes.
- Lead and support improvement projects, including research, cost analysis, financial justification, and project management from conception to completion.
- Manage key performance indicators for maintenance and production, such as safety compliance, PM completion, downtime, overtime, expense controls, and plant cleanliness.
- Develop and retain high-performing teams through effective communication, training, and empowerment.
- Build strong relationships across the organization, ensuring active communication and teamwork.
- Utilize modern maintenance management tools (e.g., CMMS, AutoCAD, MS Suite) and interpret technical documents (e.g., blueprints).
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plant management or senior manufacturing leadership, with a strong track record in maintenance supervision and program development.
- Minimum of five years in maintenance leadership, with hands-on experience in preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and strong understanding of PLC systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a continuous improvement environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with process optimization.

The GPL Director Handgun Ammunition will possess a proven analytical capability, strong, persuasive communication skills (written & verbal) and the ability to develop and drive strategic ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a deep understanding of customer needs, the competitive landscape and be able to translate consumer needs into features, pricing models, and merchandising opportunities to deliver an unparalleled customer experience.
This position reports to the Product Management Vice President and is based out of our Lewiston, Idaho office.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for overall handgun ammunition strategy, product specific strategy and product requirements
- Direct management of the Handgun Product Line Management Team
- Assists in the development of multi-year category-level business strategies and budgets which address brand, financial, resource and merchandising objectives. Makes appropriate recommendations to the Vice President, Product Management and R&D.
- Leads cross-functional core teams to develop and define product line strategies that are responsive to consumer needs and market opportunities
- Develops and recommends product line pricing strategies that meet company revenue and margin goals
- Leads multi-year product roadmap planning process for handgun ammunition
- Oversees product brief definitions that prioritize product feature sets based on market research, target margin goals, extensive end-user feedback & competitive set evaluation
- Works closely with direct reports, product engineering, project management, brand marketing, sales and sourcing to develop/maintain a schedule for product lines to ensure on-time completion including: Weekly core team meetings; Strategy development meetings; Team reviews; Major milestone reviews
- Drives close collaboration with planning/operations teams on execution and
- commercialization of new products and management of product “end of life”
- Partners with Brand Marketing Directors in the development and execution of
- product marketing plans including: Packaging; Product positioning; Product merchandising; Naming, branding and messaging
- In collaboration with the brand marketing teams, represents the voice of the consumer to satisfy unmet market needs
- Forges productive relationships with key influencers in category segments via field visits, interviews, trade shows, and account visits

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
