Additionally, we offer the following bonuses:

Referral bonus:

• $1,000 for successfully referring a new hire to the store
• This bonus to be paid out in three increments: $250 after 30 days, $250 after 60 days, and $500 after 180 days
• The referred employee must be active at the time of bonus payment and in good standing

General Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Ringing up all sales on cash register and point-of-sale equipment and ensuring proper cash handling procedures and policies
• Assist the shift leader with vendor management, inventory, and reports
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and order for our customers and the team
• Performing service transactions in accordance with company policy such as lottery sales and redemption, vendor coupon redemption, company approved credit cards, etc.
• Maintaining proper inventory levels and audits

Qualifications/Experience/Education:

• Customer service and basic computer skills
• Retail experience is a plus but not required (we will train you!)
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and operate a dolly/handcart for heavier items
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, or equivalent experience.

Job Details

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate acts as a point of contact for our customers. The duties of the Sales Associate include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.

* Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.

* Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.

* Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

* Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

* Understanding of safety policies and practices.

* Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides.

* Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.

* Basic mathematical skills.

* Ability to perform cash register functions.

* Ability to stock merchandise.

WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

* Frequent walking and standing

* Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to run check out station, stock merchandise and unload trucks; which may also require the ability to push and/or pull rolltainers for stocking merchandise

* Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, U-boats (six-wheel carts), and rolltainers

* Frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds

* Occasional climbing (using step ladder) up to heights of six feet

* Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level

* Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions

Store Manager Pay Range: $28.00 - $31.00/ Hr + bonus (Change title to General Manager after passing evaluation, $29.00 - $32.00/hr + bonus, Potential earning over $120K/year)

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree (Bachelor's Degree above with OPT status for H1B)
• Minimum one to two years of Operations experience
• Some leadership experience
• Must pass Cooking Test annually
• Must be flexible to move to a store within a radius of 50 miles from home
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends

ADA Statement: While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Work space is restricted and employees are expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. What You’ll Do as a General Manager

As the General Manager of a quick service restaurant (QSR), you will be responsible for managing the overall day-to-day operations and profitability of a food and beverage concept located inside of a travel plaza on a major highway. This position is charged with operating an assigned quick service restaurant (QSR) and leading a dedicated team that achieves or exceeds the targeted financial and performance metrics.

• Lead the day-to-day activities of associates and managers within the QSR to achieve or exceed targeted objectives around sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety standards.
• Maintain operating budgets, inventory controls, food and labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
• Ensure the QSR consistently meets or exceeds brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Foster an engaging work culture of learning, development, and recognition.
• Consistently recruit, develop, and retain a strong team to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Responsible for the hiring, coaching, training, promotion, disciplinary action, termination, or transfer of the QSR team.
• Monitor and enforce cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures along with local, state, & federal laws.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
• Work collaboratively with a variety of support partners such as Brand Partners, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Maintain seamless, cooperative relationships with business partners, vendors, and the communities.

• ServSafe Certification Preferred
• High school diploma or general education development (GED) equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a quick service restaurant
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time; frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 20 pounds.
• Occasionally attend meetings or travel to support other locations.
