What You'll Do:

- Review hospital clinical documentation/EMR/HCHB, engage with patients and providers to build clinical patient profiles and clinical-admission-assessments and identify decline patterns (i.e. frequent hospitalizations, functional deterioration, etc.).
- Consult with hospital care teams by sharing clinical profiles and educating on hospice appropriateness.
- Identify attending and consulting providers associated with referred patients – to provide patient assessment, eligibility and discharge education and awareness
- Collaborate with field sales representatives to schedule and conduct consultative meetings with external care teams.
- Initiate and maintain care team workflows for:
- Patient information / clinical assessment and documentation
- Consultation / education planning and delivery
- External and internal meetings and preparations
- Identify trends, needs, and partnership opportunities for earlier hospice engagement.
- Foster effective and trusted relationships with external care teams to improve patient outcomes and enhance end-of-life satisfaction.

Qualifications:

This role within Medline’s Global Sustainability team serves as the strategic connector between Sustainability, Product Divisions, and the Commercial team—ensuring sellers are informed, prepared, and equipped to execute the company’s sustainability strategy with customers.
The position serves as a customer-facing resource for our Sustainable Products & Services portfolio.
This individual will support the development of customer-facing narratives, tools, and value frameworks.
Additionally, the Program Manager will create frontline support by engaging directly with customers, delivering sustainability insights, showcasing capabilities, and shaping solution recommendations that advance commercial outcomes.
The Program Manager will operate as an orchestrator across Product Divisions and Sales, ensuring consistent alignment on offerings, messaging, and emerging customer needs.
This individual brings back critical market and customer intelligence to create a structured insights and feedback loop that guides portfolio evolution and informs continuous improvement.
Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Engagement & Value Storytelling Serve as a frontline sustainability expert and customer-facing resource for inquiries related to sustainable products, waste reduction, reusable solutions, sustainable materials, packaging, and circularity.
Support customer inquiries related to sustainability including requirements, solution options, questionnaires, assessments, etc.
Engage directly with customers to understand their sustainability priorities and participate in customer meetings, presentations, pilots, and sustainability-focused projects to help customers achieve their sustainability goals.
Deliver clear, compelling value propositions by translating technical sustainability attributes into customer-ready narratives and recommended solutions.
Sales Enablement & Commercial Asset Development Develop and maintain sales enablement tools, narratives, briefs, and customer-facing materials that communicate the value of Sustainable Products & Services.
Partner with Marketing to align sustainability messaging and create internal educational materials to increase understanding of sustainability initiatives, product attributes, and emerging trends.
Provide coaching and guidance to Sales on effectively communicating sustainability value propositions.
Cross-Functional Orchestration Build strong partnerships with Product Divisions to understand current and emerging sustainable products, packaging solutions, and innovation pipelines.
Partner with product managers, sales teams, and marketing to embed sustainability into product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, communications, and customer engagement.
Facilitate structured information flow across teams to support customer delivery, solution development, and commercial execution.
Market Intelligence, Opportunity Identification & Insights Loop Monitor and analyze sustainability topics, trends, and regulatory changes affecting sustainable products and programs in alignment with the company’s global sustainability strategy.
Gather customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market signals from the field to identify emerging sustainability needs and commercial opportunities.
Identify opportunities for new sustainable products, materials, packaging innovations, reuse programs, or sustainability-driven customer solutions.
Translate market and customer insights into actionable recommendations for Product Divisions, Marketing, and Sustainability leadership to guide portfolio evolution and innovation planning.
Internal Partnership & Capability Building Provide internal teams with insights on sustainability trends, customer expectations, and market shifts that impact strategic decisions.
Contribute to internal training and readiness initiatives related to sustainable products, customer sustainability goals, and commercial sustainability narratives.
Support internal and external communication efforts by contributing to messaging on sustainability progress, program achievements, and enterprise initiatives—working collaboratively with Communications and Marketing teams.
Help build organizational awareness of environmental programs, certifications, and sustainability achievements.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Marketing or other relevant field Work Experience At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, commercial strategy, sales enablement, product management/marketing, or customer-facing roles.

Background in product sustainability, circularity, decarbonization, or sustainable materials.
Experience developing commercial content, customer presentations, or enablement materials.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $101,000.00
- $152,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
