JOB PURPOSE
The Assistant Manager, Fleet Strategy supports the growth and scalability of Honda and Acura’s Fleet and Mobility business by leading strategic initiatives, analytics, and process improvements. This role develops data driven insights, implements new systems, and creates scalable workflows to support future expansion while optimizing incentive analysis and strategies that maximize revenue and operating profit. The role also supervises and supports team members, oversees vehicle ordering processes, and partners cross functionally to improve operational efficiency and customer experience, balancing tactical execution with long term strategic planning.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategy and Analytics
• Lead analysis of fleet and retail sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
• Lead analysis of fleet wholesale residual value trends for AHM and competitor products to support pricing strategies
• Support incentive strategy and product mix planning
• Develop sales forecasts, incentive strategies, and performance dashboards
• Manage special project pricing analysis for acquisition, logistics, and de-fleeting activities

Process Improvement and Systems
• Lead process documentation and standardization to support scalability• Partner with IT and business teams to implement CRM, Order Management Systems, and automation tools
• Drive digital transformation initiatives to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
• Develop procedures for order acquisition, vehicle user assignment, and risk management processes

Cross Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Service, Sales, and Operations teams on recall and warranty service level agreements and customer experience improvements• Participate in departmental projects and enterprise wide initiatives
• Partner with external committees to identify and manage depot locations for vehicle storage, staging, and maintenance
• Develop and manage inventory disposition and sales plans
• Partner with Sales and seihan planning to support fleet order acquisition, delivery, and de-fleeting timelines

Team Leadership and Development
• Supervise and support team members in daily responsibilities• Ensure alignment with departmental goals and timelines
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and process improvement
• Lead fleet special project activities

Reporting and Insights
• Build and maintain dashboards to support leadership visibility• Prepare and present operational and strategic reports to management
• Coordinate telematics utilization to track fleet vehicle usage and mitigate loss

Marketing and Communication
• Oversee fleet marketing initiatives including promotional materials, dealer communications, events, and website updates• Ensure consistent messaging aligned with business objectives

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

Minimum Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Accounting, or Marketing• MBA or Master’s degree with emphasis in Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, or Data Analytics preferred

Minimum Experience
• Eight years of experience in analytics or process improvement, automotive industry preferred• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including Excel and Power BI
• Experience with CRM and OMS systems and process automation preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Job Purpose

The Procurement Senior Specialist role will support Honda North American Indirect Procurement operations and will focus on Marketing, Sales, and New Business Development Commodities. Through theme execution and implementation, strategic management, and stakeholder alignment, the Senior Specialist is responsible for managing budget under Procurement umbrella.  Additionally, the Specialist will regularly engage with the business stakeholder community, lead strategies to achieve optimal cost reduction, and ensure the proper management of supplier relationships and risk.

This position is directly responsible for owning the relationships with key site and stakeholder leadership. The Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of sourcing strategies and collaboration with internal business partners and suppliers to reduce risks and costs for Honda. The Specialist is accountable to identify, set, and manage metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery. The Specialist drives results through the creation and management of competitive bidding processes and analyzation of data and market trends. The Specialist is responsible to plan for the category, driving/implementing initiatives, communicating and influencing customers and suppliers at all levels.

The Specialist must work collaboratively, exhibit a strong sense of urgency to meet customer timelines, exhibit an intense curiosity/learning drive, successfully operate in a fast-paced environment, engage/influence key stakeholders, be extremely customer-focused, and continuously develop their business acumen. Job Purpose
