OVERVIEW: ITA Audio Visual Solutions is a full-service AV company based in Cincinnati, Ohio since 1982. We are looking to add a key member to our live event production team. We’re seeking a talented individual who has a passion for technology and is ready to take on a new and exciting challenge.

ROLE*: The position available is Technical Director (TD). Under the direction of the Director of Production and Creative Services (DPCS), the TD leads a team of experienced event technicians. The TD and his team are involved in each event from beginning to end. It starts with a member of our technical team meeting with our clients to understand their goals and vision for their event. They then design a solution, prepare all necessary elements and are ultimately responsible for its flawless execution.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Expertise
- The TD is responsible for ensuring that the technical aspects of all our events are done properly and safely. Those include but are not limited to video, audio, lighting, streaming, rigging and power distribution.
- The TD it is expected that he or she would know how to engage experts in areas of need. That can be from existing team members or outside resources.
- It is expected that the TD will consistently work towards becoming proficient in all areas of technology that ITA offers.
- Employee Supervision
- The TD will have a team of dedicated event technicians that report directly to him/her.
- The TD will be responsible for the day to day management of the techs including:
- Assigning daily tasks and verifying successful completion
- Going onsite to events to ensure things are being done correctly and safely
- Arranging for skill development during down times
- Creating weekly schedules
- Sales Support
- The TD or a member of his team will meet with clients to discuss their event.
- The TD or a member of the tech team is responsible for building quotes once event details are discovered.
- The TD will respond to any questions or adjustments made by the client.

What You Will Do
- Apply your fashion and merchandise execution experience and knowledge to drive sales and profits
- Implement optimal merchandise execution standards by interpreting seasonal and monthly execution guides and tailoring them to store architecture and product assortment
- Lead the communication, execution, and training of visual merchandising directives, merchandising standards for each business category, and brand partner requirements to ensure the store floor is customer-ready at all times
- Create stunning store displays using various resources
- Strategize on pricing, signage, visual presentation, events, and merchandising
- Provide strategic support for Own Your Style fixtures, fashion trends, and setups
- Lead DEI initiatives through mannequin and trend presentations that inspire customers to discover their personal style
- Document your work with photos to create visual resources that educate and inspire others
- Train the Manager of Sales & Customer Service on merchandising execution standards and techniques
- Interview, hire, train, manage, coach, develop, coordinate, evaluate, and discipline direct and indirect reports; establish work strategy; provide insight and decision support; direct and manage the team to meet or exceed performance and behavioral expectations; address and resolve concerns
- Coach team members in effective merchandising techniques
- Manage inventory, including receipt flow, placement, and stockroom organization
- Work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Skills You Will Need

Who You Are
- Candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- 3-5 years of management experience in retail
- This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- May involve reaching above eye level
- Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs

Iconic Candy is one of the fastest-growing nostalgic candy companies in the country, bringing back the legendary brands people grew up loving while creating exciting new candy experiences for the next generation. From Creme Savers to Retro Sours, Bubble Jug, and Ouch! Bubble Gum, our brands generate massive social buzz and are distributed nationwide across major retailers.
We are looking for a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our growing in-house creative team at our Holmdel, NJ headquarters. This role will work directly with our Head of Creative (Director of Marketing) and our Content Creator / Social Media Manager to produce visually compelling graphics that bring our brands to life across digital and physical platforms.
This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and wants to help build iconic consumer brands.
As the Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating bold, engaging visual assets that support marketing, social media, retail sales, and brand campaigns. Your work will help shape how millions of consumers experience our brands both online and in stores.
You will play a key role in ensuring that all creative work reflects the fun, nostalgic, and energetic personality of Iconic Candy.
Creative Design & Brand Development
- Design eye-catching graphics for social media posts, reels, and digital campaigns
- Develop creative assets for advertisements, promotional campaigns, and influencer collaborations
- Create engaging product visuals, lifestyle graphics, and brand storytelling elements
- Help evolve and maintain the visual identity of multiple candy brands
Marketing & Sales Materials
- Design sell sheets, retailer presentations, marketing decks, and trade show materials
- Create graphics for Amazon listings, website content, and e-commerce platforms
- Produce retail merchandising materials including displays, POS graphics, and promotional signage
- Design email marketing visuals and campaign graphics
Content Collaboration
- Work closely with our Content Creator to develop graphics that enhance video and social content
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative on larger brand campaigns and product launches
- Assist in designing graphics that support TikTok, Instagram, and viral marketing initiatives
Production & Execution
- Prepare production-ready files for print, packaging, and digital platforms
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
- Manage multiple creative projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, social media, and marketing design
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience designing for social media platforms and digital marketing
- Strong understanding of typography, color, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work collaboratively and take creative direction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience working with consumer brands or CPG products
- Knowledge of packaging design
- Experience designing for retail marketing
- Familiarity with motion graphics or light animation
