  • Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care.

  • Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data (i.e. physical, psychological, educational and risk-screen data appropriate for the chronological / developmental age of the patient).

  • Communicates and documents assessment of patient with the interdisciplinary team. Utilizes all available resources in order to meet the needs of the patient and family.

  • Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services which is individualized and appropriate for the patient needs, strengths, limitations and goals.

Join our team in a 33-bed Behavioral Health Unit specializing in adult and geriatric patients. Staffed with compassionate healthcare professionals, including RNs, CNAs, Mental Health Assistants, Psychiatrists, and Mental Health Providers. Operating with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6-1:9, our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, and other referral partners to drive census growth and strengthen referral pipelines.

Community Engagement

  • Represent the facility at local health fairs, senior events, and networking functions.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Track referral trends, admissions, and outreach efforts, providing regular updates to leadership.

Customer Service & Communication

  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness in all interactions with patients, families, and referral partners.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up throughout the referral and admission process.
  • Promote a positive image of Garden Springs Healthcare in all external and internal communications.

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare marketing, hospital liaison, or admissions role (skilled nursing, rehab, or post-acute care required).
