Primary Purpose of Position

Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant specific nuclear licensed operations training programs.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Coordinates, and conducts performance-based operations Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training programs as required by user community in accordance with Constellation's systematic approach to training model, department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
  • Assures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design change and backfit information, CEC procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
  • Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.
  • Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.
  • Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.
  • Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high-quality training.
  • Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED with 6 years of related (e.g. test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant operator) experience OR
  • Associate's degree in a technical discipline, education, or training with 4 years of related (e.g. test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant operator) experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or related science, education or training with 2 years of related (e.g. test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant operator) experience

  • Effectively communicate and address CEC and personnel issues to the appropriate levels of Outage Services & Alliances (OS&A) and CEC management. Foster open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to OS&A.
  • Oversee project activities of multidisciplinary team regarding turbine generator disassembly and reassembly, coordination of turbine deck lay-down, mobilization of equipment and tooling as well as interfacing with management and specific contract personnel. Satisfy contractual obligations, meet project milestones, and optimize short-term and long-term company profit by effectively managing and facilitating resources.
  • Understand, support, and administer all OS&A processes, such as the training program, surveillance program, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program (CAP) to ensure effective work practices. Identify and support improvement opportunities and development, implementation, and performance monitoring of all Business Goals and objectives.

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for execution of turbine generator outage execution project teams to support safe, reliable, and efficient outage activities consistent with Constellation and Clean Energy Center (CEC) goals. Implements standardization of outage processes and procedures across assigned Constellation CECs. Reinforces standards and expectations for Outage Planning & Services personnel and other personnel who interface with Outage Planning & Services to establish an error free and professional work environment. Always enforce procedure use and adherence, Human Performance (HU) fundamentals, Technical Human Performance (THU) techniques, and provide coaching and mentoring as necessary to achieve continuous improvement.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Perform development of detailed plans, identification and assignment of personnel, and development of detailed work scope.
  • Develop scope schedule and budget with the life cycle cost management system.
  • Apply expert knowledge in execution of refueling outage services at assigned CEC. Provide primary communication with client CEC management and major vendor service organization.
  • Direct project completion and close out of financial and technical documentation. Provide fiscal data and promote fiscal accountability among all project participants
  • Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives and promoting these improvement initiatives among all project participants at CECs.
  • Responsible to effectively communicate technical, financial, and work progress status to all levels of corporate and CEC management.
  • Reinforce appropriate fundamental behaviors in area of assigned responsibility. Includes administering coaching, mentoring, and performance management for managers and employees

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of power generation experience OR
  • Associate's degree with 10 years of power generation experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 12 years of power generation experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in a minimum of 3 refueling outages
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Primary Purpose of Position

About the role:

As a Global Lead Manufacturing Engineer you will partner with manufacturing sites and the Quality Assurance functions to develop excellence in manufacturing execution (throughput, quality, productivity, velocity) and to achieve manufacturing process development to ensure manufacture of both legacy and new products. This is a hybrid position reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering. While the role is officially remote, there is a strong preference for candidates who are geographically located near one of our U.S. fuel manufacturing sites in Columbia, NC; Blairsville, PA; or Ogden, UT. Occasional in-office presence will be required based on business needs.


The role involves supporting global manufacturing operations and will require regular travel (30–40%) to international manufacturing facilities. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining close collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies for optimizing and streamlining legacy fuel manufacturing operations in partnership with manufacturing sites and functional leads.
  • Lead a structured problem solving approach to capture opportunities and close gaps in the manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze existing processes and identify value-added and non-value-added activities to solve design challenges
  • Lead product line optimization through employing digital and automation technologies, streamlining flow paths, and identifying needed equipment upgrades and new manufacturing process / technology capabilities.
