The APRN/Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary health care including health promotion and disease prevention activities for patients. The incumbent provides specialized care in collaboration with department physicians and refers patients to consultants for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment procedures as appropriate.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have successfully completed an approved nurse practitioner program.

To do this, we need a revenue-minded operator with full P&L accountabilityβsomeone who can turn growth targets into operational reality. About the Role
The Emergency Department Administrative Director is a senior clinical and operational leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a high-volume, 24/7 Emergency Department serving approximately 45,000 patients annually within a culturally and linguistically diverse community.
This role is suited for a masterβs-prepared (MBA or MHA/MNA) Emergency Medicine Nurse Leader, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant with significant clinical and administrative experience. In close partnership with the Emergency Department Medical Director and senior leadership, the Director leads clinical operations, workflow redesign, quality improvement initiatives, staffing strategy, and budget oversight.
While primarily administrative, the role also includes a clinical practice component aligned with the individualβs licensure. The ideal candidate is a strategic, collaborative leader who can drive operational excellence, ensure high-quality patient care, and support multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
The Emergency Department Administrative Director oversees, with the Emergency Department Medical Director, the daily operations of a busy 24/7 emergency service. Predominantly administrative in nature, this full-time position also includes clinical practice requirements.Β Under the guidance of the senior clinical management team and in collaboration with the Emergency Department Medical Director, the Administrative Director will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the departmentβs ongoing service delivery system and redesign efforts.
