Position Summary:
The Superintendent – Rail is accountable for planning, organizing, directing units and managing all personnel and activities related to infrastructure construction and operations. The Track Superintendent ensures that the quality of work and materials are upheld and that the schedule is followed as planned as well as enforces and adheres to Company's safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:

- Partner with design and production from the beginning of a season to understand seasonal concepts and aesthetic fabric qualities needed to evolve each category, offering fabrics that meet the objective at a cost effective price
- Attend domestic and international tradeshows with the goal of identifying relevant trends and establishing new resources to help us evolve our quality and stay ahead of the trend curve while ensuring our price value proposition is maintained
- Maintain alignment with all cross functional teams to ensure seasonal calendar deadlines are meet/maintained
- Attend weekly cross functional meetings with production and design partners to discuss open issues so we can ensure product integrity and delivery are not compromised
- Spearhead Fabric summits to show case latest trends and new developments
- Procure fabrics for bulk that are within price range and meet design aesthetic
- Manage Fabric buys and best deliveries that will meet production needs
- Strengthen and strategize on developing sourcing base by building rapport with current mill partners
- Source new mills
- Provide technical analysis and strategic support to production for development and bulk
- Supervise both Research and Development and bulk fabric teams in NY and overseas
- Execute timely sample yardage development across all brand categories
- Source and develop textiles according to design direction and aesthetic, within divisional price parameters to meet required mark-ups
- Hands on knowledge of fabric construction, finishing and dyeing processes
- Counter source fabrics as needed for better costing and or deliveries
- Stay on top of industry and market trends and new innovations in fabrics and textiles
- Build and maintain strong relationships with design and production teams to monitor costs in advance of placements

- Support floor coverage, financial targets, visual merchandising standards, client service, and operational functions within the store both front of house and back of house

- Follow through on customer journey as required to ensure a content client
- Support the needs of the client through styling advice and suggestion with every engagement
- Solution oriented approach to finding resolutions to customer service issues
Marketing & Community:
- In partnership with Store Management Team, bring to life activations/ events in the store that seek client acquisition and focus on client retention/ development
Team Leadership:
- In alignment with Store Management continually coach, motivate, train and develop internal teams so they achieve performance goals and are set up for success with growth opportunities within the organization
- Support a positive work environment with teams and throughout store network including cross functional partners
- Support performance management initiatives with store teams
- Attend and participate at store meetings as required by the business
- Ability to manage and resolve conflict in the workplace
Visuals:
- Support the image of the store and ensure that is in line with corporate standards and store team is upholding these standards
Operations:
- Ensure all inventory initiatives are completed including receiving, return to warehouse, transfers, regular cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and processing are completed in accordance to company guidelines as required
- Protect all company assets including cash handling, inventory, expenses etc.
- Support Client Consignment business, ensuring a quick turnaround, strong take rate, and effective and efficient logistics for merchandise movement
- Ensure omnichannel functions, including Order-in-Store, Ship-from-Store, Pickup-in-Store, Reserve-in-Store, with a focus on achieving Omni-specific KPIs
- Provide support to ensure that all processes are compliant with legal, safety, and internal procedures
- Partner with cross functional partners including Stores within network, Operations, Visual Team, CRM, Retail Training, HR, Merchandise teams, Regional management as necessary
- Additional projects/ responsibilities may arise in accordance with the needs of the business
Requirements:
- At least 1+ years of experience in a retail apparel environment preferred
- Fashion enthusiasts and retail experience within women’s and men’s apparel preferred
- Ability to effectively create, manage and adhere to deadlines
- Familiar with key retail performance indicators
- Adaptable, a sense of openness, active listener, and compassionate
- Advanced organizational skills, writing and communication skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Comfortable and savvy with computer technology, including PC and iOS devices
- Travel approximately 10% of the time
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs.

Summary:
Rails is looking for a Social Media Manager passionate about content creation and visual design.
Responsibilities:
- Manage organic social content strategy for @rails and @railsmens
- Shoot and edit social-first content for organic and paid social including short-form videos
- and stills
- Liaise with Marketing, Art and Content teams to execute content that reflects the direction of the collections and the brand’s global marketing initiatives
- Capture retail, design and corporate office content as well as at photoshoots and events
- Manage posting calendar and copy for organic social including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms
