Speech-Language Pathologist Travel Assignments in Wilmington, NC, and Beyond
Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide vital services for students across various grade levels, from early childhood through 12th grade. This role focuses on school-based pediatric therapy, offering opportunities to work within self-contained and resource classrooms. Assignments primarily begin in the Wilmington, NC area, with additional travel assignments open in Southern California, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Colorado.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapy tailored to the needs of students in grades K-12.
* Support diverse educational settings including self-contained and resource classrooms.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
* Utilize therapeutic techniques appropriate for early childhood through secondary education.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with state and district regulations.
Qualifications:
* Active State License in Speech-Language Pathology relevant to the state of service.
* Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
* Ability to service multiple grade levels including early childhood, elementary (K-5), middle school (6-8), and high school (9-12).
* Flexibility to work in various classroom environments such as self-contained and resource settings.
* Willingness and availability for travel assignments in Southern CA, NC, SC, and CO.
