Responsibilities

- Conduct driver ride along and provide constructive coaching to improve driver performance.
- Partner with terminal leadership to create a Safety Culture of Excellence.
- Developing relationships with the Company drivers and Independent Contractor fleets to encourage safety first and safe driving habits.
- Follow up on the training of the newly hired Company drivers and Independent Contractor regarding policies, procedures, and safety systems.
- Safety Supervision of a regional fleet of Company Drivers and Independent Contractors to ensure FMCSA compliance.
- Assist with overall CSA compliance improvement.
- Hours of Service management β PC Miles, HOS Violations. etc.
- Manage driver roadside inspections.
- Conducts investigations to determine root cause for all vehicle accidents.
- Be the safety liaison for each terminal assigned.
- Supply the Terminal manager with safety reports etc. at-risk drivers
- Immediate communication to the Safety Department and Terminal Manager for drivers not meeting company requirements.

Requirements
Summary of essential job functions
This job includes the following duties and others as assigned by current manager:
Compile and manage paper driver logs when they are required to be used.
Process MVR documentation on driver annuals for DOT/DQ file processing.
Support the claims department as required.
Support the training department as required.
Track and file required documentation in current DOT/DQ paper and electronic files.
Update TMW with driver expirations associated with CDL, DOT physicals, hazmat endorsements, and annual reviews.
Track all self-certifications relative to DOT physicals.
Track all unconfirmed electronic logbooks, working with terminal managers to ensure compliance.
Daily logbook audits of Personal Conveyance.
Help manage accident entries into Velocity.
Scan and file department paperwork daily.
Provide daily report of in-house HOS violations and communicate results to field. Assist with drug/alcohol program management.

Position Overview: The Account Manager will serve as the key point of contact for customers within their portfolio, acting as a problem solver and developing strong relationships across customer stakeholders. This role involves identifying cross-selling opportunities, maintaining critical information regarding shipments, and ensuring compliance and efficiency in logistics operations. The Account Manager will also be responsible for investigating and resolving customer complaints, coordinating activities to respond to customer requests, and continually following up with customer contacts. Additionally, the role includes entering shipments into the transport management system, validating documents and reports, assigning carriers, and ensuring compliance with established standards. The Account Manager will operate within the guidelines and contractual obligations between the customer and Quantix, coordinating change orders, cancellations, and other logistics activities. This position requires excellent communication, networking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Key Responsibilities?
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the key point of contact for customers in your portfolio; become the Chief Problem Solver for your customers. Develop strong relationships across customer stakeholders.
- Assist with the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and supply chain non-conformances; coordinate activity needed to respond to customer requests and continually follow up with customer contacts as needed.
- Work internally and externally as needed to respond to inquiries, requests, and demands, including, but not limited to ETAs, Proofs of Delivery, and Scale Tickets for non-special service trips.
- Create, maintain, and present material needed for reporting customer and company performance to goals.
Sales and Business Development
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell within our division and company.
- Obtain rate quotes, conduct RFPs, propose new solutions that drive growth and continual improvement.
Logistics and Operations
- Ensure information is maintained regarding origin and delivery point requirements as well as data regarding shipper, carrier, and customer performance, continuously tracking calls and e-mails.
- Enter shipments into the transport management system and proactively inquire, capture, and communicate critical information to ensure success.
- Collect, create, submit, correct, monitor, maintain, and validate documents and reports to ensure the smooth preparation and timely execution of all activities to support the movement of shipment/loads from order-to-cash.
- Maintain shipper and consignee profiles on assigned locations to ensure customer compliance and efficiency.
- Assign and select carriers based on location requirements, cost, and service.
- Ensure that all carriers comply with standards established for an approved carrier.
- Document and confirm all accessorial charges within the process outlined and as required.
- Operate within the guidelines and contractual obligations established between the customer and Quantix.
- Coordinate all change orders, cancellations, rush orders, returned loads, and reconsignment or diversions.
- Confirm rate changes with carriers and record necessary information for accounting and continual improvement.
- Ensure positive inventory control and load assignments.

Qualifications?

The Director of Environmental & Safety Compliance is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive environmental and safety management systems across the organization. This role ensures that the company adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations, as well as industryβ best practices. The director works closely with operational teams, regulatory agencies, contractors, and corporate leadership to drive sustainability initiatives, reduce environmental and safety risks in transportation, warehousing, and supply chain operations, and ensure readiness for customer and internal audits. The role also oversees contractor management programs and leads ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Β· Develop, implement, and oversee safety management and environmental compliance systems, policies, procedures, and programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations (e.g., EPA, DOT, OSHA, state environmental agencies).
Β· Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to hazardous materials, emissions, waste management, water quality, and sustainability practices.
Β· Lead environmental and safety risk assessments and audits across facilities and operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Β· Oversee preparation and execution of customer audits, ensuring all compliance documentation and systems are audit-ready and meet client expectations.

Requirements
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, Compliance, or a related field (Masterβs preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in environmental and safety compliance, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or supply chain sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state environmental and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, DOT hazardous materials regulations, and sustainability frameworks.
- Experience conducting environmental and safety audits, risk assessments, customer and internal audits, and developing corrective action plans.
- Experience managing contractor compliance programs and ESG reporting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- This job includes the following duties and any other as assigned by their Fleet Manager: Provide for the necessary planning, organization, direction, coordination and control in the administration of daily shipping, receiving, maintenance and all other operational activities at their assigned locations(s).
- Assist in establishing measurable Quality goals for the facility and track their success or failure.
- Identify operations goals and perform, either directly or indirectly, those activities necessary to achieve stated goals and objectives to support the business and obtain maximum growth and profitability.
- Ensure the continued growth and success of the business by the aggressive recruitment, training and ongoing management of drivers, tank wash, maintenance, dispatch, clerical and other support personnel.
- Provide ongoing management support for all assigned personnel, including but not limited to the assistance with daily and weekly scheduling, the evaluation of labor hours worked and the routine monitoring of cost of delivery, storage and all other operational activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for all new operations employees as well as the establishment of ongoing training programs for all current staff.
- Make provisions and establish schedules for the cross training of essential personnel to ensure that redundancy staffing measures are in place in terms of coverage in the event of absence.
- Ensure that all customer requirements are met and that work is performed in conformance to the standards set by upper management. Assist in short and long range operational strategy and planning. Maintain all appropriate records and assure their accuracy.
- Assist in the oversight and direction of all terminal activities and help to determine the scheduling of daily workloads and objectives.
- Help ensure that equipment usage and maintenance records are maintained and preventative maintenance schedules are in order and acted upon.
- Awareness of existing and new regulations concerning labor, environmental restrictions and hazards, etc from DOT, OSHA, EEOC and other agencies.
- Project a professional image through the appearance of all company facilities and equipment and in all customer relationships.

Minimum requirements
- Bachelors degree in Transportation Management or related field or 4+ years equivalent experience in the Transportation/Distribution industry.
- Working knowledge of truckload transportation operations.
