Primary Purpose of Position
Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and proposed modification of plant specific maintenance and technical training programs (Chemistry, Engineering, Maintenance: Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical, and Radiation Protection).
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Develops, schedules, coordinates, and conducts performance-based maintenance or technical training programs as required by user community in accordance with Constellation's systematic approach to training model, department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
- Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.
- Participates in CEC support activities, i.e. outage support, root cause support, line assessment support.
- Assures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design change and backfit information, CEC procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
- Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.
- Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.
- Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.
- Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high-quality training.
- Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

Diane Gilman (RTW Division) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Associate Technical
Designer to join our Technical Design team. The ideal candidate will support the technical design
process- ensuring fit, quality, and construction standards are maintained across all styles. In this role,you will collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Production, and Overseas partners across multiple brands and categories of knit and soft woven womenswear. This is a mid level position. Candidates must have at least 4 years of working experience in Technical Design not including internships.
Key Responsibilities:
-Follow established fit standards and processes.
-Track, prepare and measure fit samples before fittings.
-Support Senior Technical Designer in reviewing and evaluating sample measurements and
construction of all fit samples to determine they are meeting intended design requirements.
-Collaborate with design and production teams through live model fittings.
-Take clear notes for designated product area during fittings.
-Give input during fittings to communicate fit issues and give solutions to improve garment fit and

Position Summary
The Judy Blue Technical Designer will demonstrate expertise and knowledge in both junior and plus-size denim – development, fit, construction, sizing, grading, and production practices and procedures. The ideal candidate will have proven success in an apparel/garment construction and manufacturing environment with a specific focus on denim. The Technical Designer is responsible for a cross-functional position that interacts with both the creative and executive parts of the business. This role collaborates with the Technical Design, Design, Product Development, and Production teams, and reports to the Director of Production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Technical Design team in all aspects; working closely with other team members to effectively manage the overall workload related to construction, fit, approvals, comments, timelines, and other relevant tasks, all under the guidance of Senior Technical Designer.
- Prepare for, organize, and lead fittings, and record accurate fit comments during fittings.
- Analyze all samples for size, fit, quality, and construction and review findings with Senior TD as needed.

THE PURPOSE:
The Manager, Technical Design - Denim leads the technical design process for denim, ensuring products meet the brand’s fit, construction, and quality standards from concept through production. This role partners closely with Design, Product Development, and Production to translate creative vision into technically sound garments while managing timelines, resolving technical challenges, and maintaining consistency across collections. The Tech Design Manager also develops and leads the technical design team while ensuring operational excellence and alignment with brand standards.
THE ROLE (what you are accountable for):
- Lead the technical design process for denim products from concept through production, ensuring fit, construction, and finishing align with the design vision and brand standards.
- Partner with Design to translate creative concepts into detailed technical specifications, including measurements, patterns, and construction details.
- Create and maintain comprehensive tech packs, including specifications, construction notes, and quality requirements for vendors and factories.
- Lead fit sessions and communicate adjustments to Design, Merchandising, Product Development, and Production teams.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Production to ensure appropriate fabric, trim, and wash selections meet quality and performance standards.
- Troubleshot technical issues during development and production, including garment fit, fabric behavior, shrinkage, and construction challenges.
- Manage timelines across the technical design process to ensure milestones and delivery deadlines are met.
- Partner with factories and vendors to ensure clear communication, consistent processes, and adherence to brand standards.
- Maintain quality control and consistency across denim products and seasonal collections.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and technical design execution.

- Proficiency with technical design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CAD, or Techpacker
- Experience working with global vendors and factories across the production lifecycle

ADDITIONAL ROLE INFORMATION:
- Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $120,000 – $150,000. This is a full-time, exempt position. This range represents the low and high ends of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced technical designer with a background in sweater knitting (accessories or apparel), yarn and fabric materials. Your primary role will be to own product creation, construction, fit, and quality of assigned Brands. You will create the tech packs, and be the primary source of communication with the factory on specs for each style you manage. You will collaborate with the product business development team, merchandisers, production and overseas teams ensuring product technical execution and consistency meeting production timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own product construction and execution based on the product brief, materials, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Work in partnership with the Product Business Development (PBD) team in translating the buyer’s tech packs and converting information into PSIs within the internal PLM system.
- Create, maintain, and update technical information and measurement sets in the PLM system for owned Brands.
- Understand construction and material impact on costing and provide recommendations for construction/material adjustments to meet the product brief.
- Be a member of the Technical Design (TD) team in creating technical specifications, balancing multiple projects during peak periods.
- Check-in samples for owned Brands reviewing for fit, trim, and construction per the product brief.
- Understand timelines and have a sense of urgency in sample turnaround times.
- Support sample check-ins and document fit, trim, and construction feedback.
- Lead tech pack hand-off meetings to the overseas merchandising team and factory for assigned brands.
- Attend 1st piece reviews with the overseas merchandising team.
- Collaborate with product development and overseas teams to ensure alignment on product construction and timelines.
- Participate in Brand meetings for seasonal kick-off, promoting conversation around technical construction details in alignment with brand initiatives.
- Support PBD team in compiling trend and market research with a construction and materials lens.
- Build seasonal trend presentations, specific to assigned accounts, using tools like 3D Apex, In-Design, AI, Photoshop, Canva, etc.
- Prepare CAD/3D designs for assigned accounts, as needed, for presentations and sample requests (proto/SMS).
- Train in 3D design and contribute to pushing the 3D program to its full potential through Research and Development.

QUALIFICATIONS:
