Role Description

Position Summary
Oceaneering's Marine Services Division (MSD) is seeking Inside Machinists to support the manufacturing of complex, critical submarine components in a low-volume, build-to-print environment. Unlike high-volume \"widget\" machining shops, our work consists of one-off and non-repeat builds with tight tolerances, exotic alloys, and high-quality standards that directly support the U.S. Navy submarine fleet.
This role does not require travel but may require overtime.
Duties And Responsibilities
CNC PROGRAMMING & SETUP:
- Review and run CNC programs (lathe and mill) using G-code and CAM platforms.
- Set up CNC and manual machines using written instructions.
MACHINING OPERATIONS:
- Perform the setup and basic operation of equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and/or related shop machinery.
- Perform machining operations under supervision, using CNC and/or manual equipment as required.
BLUEPRINT, TECHNICAL, AND WORK DOCUMENT INTERPRETATION:
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, manuals, GD&T callouts, and technical work documents.
PRECISION MEASUREMENT & DOCUMENTATION:
- Accurately record measurements using metrology tools.
QUALITY, SAFETY, AND WORKMANSHIP:
- Understand and follow all company, OSHA, and NAVSEA safety and cleanliness requirements.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to perform basic machine operation, tool use, and measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and drawings, and identify basic GD&T.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of shop math (e.g. convert between decimals and fractions, adding and subtracting decimals and fractions, basic trigonometry used for layout and measurements, etc.).
- Ability to use basic PMI, with assistance.
- Ability to follow setup instructions and run programs on one machine type.
- Must be a U.S. citizen who is not a dual citizen of any other country.
DESIRED:
- Experience machining submarine, aerospace, defense, nuclear, or similarly critical components in a precision or defense manufacturing environment.
- Introductory knowledge of CNC machine operation or programming (G-code familiarity a plus, but not required).

OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon to join our hospital-employed practice. The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in sports medicine with expertise in shoulder and knee arthroscopy, and an interest in expanding services to include elbow and hip arthroscopy. This is an excellent opportunity to grow a high-demand sports medicine program within a well-established orthopedic group supported by a strong referral network.
COMPENSATION:
- Option #1: Base salary of $685,202* (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target.
- Option #2: Base salary of $908,411* (75%tile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract.
* 5% less for those not yet boarded, salary adjusted accordingly upon board certification
2-year contract also includes:
- Vacation: 29 PTO (paid time off) days. Additional 5 days PTO when producing 75%tile wRVUs.

- Monitor Role (Hemodynamic & Procedural Monitoring)
- When assigned, functions as the primary monitor technologist, recording hemodynamic data, pressures, and procedural events.
- Ensures allergy considerations are communicated during the timeout and reflected in procedural documentation.
- Operates and troubleshoots physiological monitoring systems (e.g., hemodynamic recorders, ECG, oxygen saturation).
- Documents all supplies used, implants, contrast usage, and procedural details accurately.

- Peri-Procedure
- Assists with patient preparation, patient positioning, connecting monitoring equipment and equipment placement.
- In collaboration with nurses, verify allergies, NPO status, renal function, and other relevant clinical factors.
- Performs patient identification, procedure verification, and timeout processes in accordance with institutional policy.
- Provides support during sedation, as needed, under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Help to monitor patient condition, respond to changes during procedures and assist team, as needed or requested.
- Perform sheath pulls and vascular access management as needed.
- Contrast Allergy Management Collaboration
- Works collaboratively with nursing and physicians to identify and address contrast allergies or sensitivities.
- Participates in pre-procedure discussions regarding appropriate contrast agents (e.g., switching to iso-osmolar).
- Ensures allergy considerations are communicated during the timeout.
- Department Support
- Assist with managing supplies and par levels, restocking procedure room, tracking expiration dates, rotating stock, and receiving, unpacking, labeling, and shelving incoming inventory.
- Assist with room turnover efficiency by assisting with post procedure cleanup such as sharps and biohazard materials disposal according to policy and preparing the room for the next case (restocking, setting up basic items, checking lead availability).
- Perform basic daily/weekly equipment checks (fluoro readiness, imaging equipment diagnostics, injector checks, lead apron integrity inspections, etc.), ensuring all equipment is inspected, calibrated, and functioning properly before use.
- Report and document malfunctioning equipment; assist with placing service calls when needed.
- Assists with tracking radiation dose metrics and equipment service needs.
- Ensure devices are cleaned, charged, and stored properly (e.g., ultrasound, IVUS, etc.).

General description
Facilitates communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and teachers, staff members, and peers within an educational environment, using a variety of manual and verbal communication systems in a highly proficient manner reflecting the affect of the speaker and/or signer. The Interpreter for Deaf/Hard of Hearing facilitates communication through the use of sign-to English and English-to-sign skills. This position requires course work, Level 4 certification, and competency using manual sign systems.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Interprets for students who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) in a variety of educational settings, including, but not limited to, classroom environments, assemblies, recess, noon sport leagues, and counseling sessions using various sign language systems and voice interpretation at a normal conversational rate
- Interprets a wide range of curriculum, including scientific and advanced placement topics
- Consults with the teachers of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing, general education staff and typical students on the effective use of an interpreter

- Collaborates with IEP teams to standardize signs in an educational setting

Requirements

Artisan Direct is seeking reliable independent contractors to place and pick up temporary weekend directional signs. This is a simple, active outdoor role that offers predictable weekend income and flexible scheduling.

What Youll Do
- Placement window: Friday 5 PM through Saturday 10 AM
- Pick-up window: Sunday 6 PM through Monday 8 AM
- View sign locations and a suggested installation order in the app.
- Contractors are free to complete the route in any order within the time windows.
- Store signs safely between weekends
- Use your own vehicle for local driving routes
Most standard 3060 sign routes take 45 minutes to 1.5 hours once you are familiar with them.

- Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend
Independent Contractor Notice
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are not employees of Artisan Direct and are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes and insurance. Contractors determine their own driving order, provide their own vehicle and mobile device, and complete the work within the placement and pickup windows provided. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered. Contractors may accept or decline routes but must complete any route they commit to.

Position Summary:
The DOT Sign Installer is responsible for installing signs on state highways and other roadways, working either independently or as part of a sign installation control crew. This role includes setting up and maintaining safe work zones as required to ensure the safety of both the crew and the public.
Essential Functions:
- Install, remove, and maintain DOT roadway signs, posts, and related hardware.
- Ensure all installations meet DOT, MUTCD, and company safety standards.
- Assemble and install sign posts using a jackhammer and other necessary tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, site plans, and installation specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Operate hand and power tools, jack hammers, drills, and basic construction equipment.
- Drive the sign installation vehicle with a trailer to and from project sites and operate safely on work sites.
- Load, transport, and unload signs, posts, and materials to and from job sites
- Perform routine inspections and repairs of existing signage.
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and traffic control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Previous experience installing DOT or roadway signage in sign installation or a similar trade is required; certification from ATSSA as a Worksite Traffic Technician or Supervisor is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet federal DOT requirements; a CDL Class B is preferred.
- Working knowledge of DOT and MUTCD standards.
- Experience using construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to understand and follow directions as provided by supervisors and project leads.
- Capability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds to handle materials and equipment.
