Job Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse valid in New York State
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience required; obstetric anesthesia (OB) experience preferred
- Experience with regional and neuraxial anesthesia, airway management, and perioperative monitoring preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts and provide weekend/holiday coverage as needed

Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify informed consent for OB and general surgical patients
- Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients and families
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for obstetric and general surgical cases
- Monitor patients’ physiological status and intervene promptly to ensure patient safety
- Perform clinical interventions such as regional anesthesia, neuraxial techniques, and advanced airway management
- Collaborate with supervising physicians, obstetric teams, and perioperative staff to optimize maternal and perioperative outcomes
