Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to a defined patient population using the nursing process
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain cost-effective, high-quality patient care standards
- Participate in unit-based and organizational quality improvement initiatives
- Support student and new employee orientation and training activities
- Maintain compliance with Patient Care Services philosophy and clinical standards
- Engage in continuing education and professional development activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Adhere to scheduling requirements, including every other weekend and designated holidays
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills :Strong knowledge of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Experience in floor or critical care nursing
- Patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Quality improvement participation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly in a float pool environment
- Documentation accuracy and EMR proficiency
- Compassionate, patient-centered care approach
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a related area (floor or critical care)
- Active Registered Nurse License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification (if required by department) within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Perform comprehensive preoperative assessments and verify patient consent and surgical readiness.
- Serve in circulating and/or scrub roles as assigned.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols.
- Monitor patient status during procedures and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders and established policies.
- Coordinate surgical case flow and ensure availability of required equipment and supplies.
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in surgical time-outs and safety checks to promote patient safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills: - Registered Nurse Operating Room
- Min 1 year of experience as RN OR
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (associate or bachelorβs degree).
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact eligibility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification.
- Experience in a hospital-based surgical setting.
