Perform mechanical tasks such as sealing, soldering, encapsulation, and decal installation as required.Use electrical testing instruments, including ohmmeters and test lights, to conduct continuity checks and implement authorized changes.Drill, saw, file, sand, patch, and build up plastic parts and fixtures to meet required tolerances.Operate shop equipment, such as ovens, presses, and vacuum equipment, to finish and inspect parts.Create charts, records, and graphs as assigned, and apply protective materials and parting agents to molds, forms, and dies.Notify supervisors of equipment failures and malfunctions and make temporary molds and dams from various materials as needed.Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.Handle and work with various metals (e.g., aluminum, brass, steel, titanium) and plastics (e.g., acrylic, fiberglass, kevlar) for 6-8 hours daily.

The Senior Account Executive has at their disposal the engineering group for design-build projects. The Senior Account Executive will be expected to propose and estimate his/her projects


Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Account Management for business opportunities for our life science, Biotech and Healthcare sector.
  • Develop Strategic Account Plans to penetrate and grow our life science and biotech markets.
  • Networking at industry events as appropriate
  • Build partnering relationships with owners, owner’s reps, and consultants responsible for the decision-making process.
  • Understand the life science and biotech customer's business, speak their language, and demonstrate technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment from the customer.

  • Periodic inspection of construction sites.
  • Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims. Work with the Project Managers to carefully review these conditions with clients and teams.
  • The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000 plus variable sales incentive pay. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).



Qualifications:

  • An expert at preconstruction, construction management, and mechanical / plumbing estimating with a focus on Life Science and Biotech mechanical systems.
  • Sales/Customer (5+ years) and capable of expanding Hermanson’s expertise and relationships in life science and biotech markets
  • Excel and Bluebeam proficiency preferred.
  • The qualified candidate must have demonstrated the ability to analyze and perform pursue/no pursue and bid/no bid recommendations and develop pursuit strategies for new business opportunities. The position will also require previous experience in evaluation, competitive environment assessment, value-based pricing, price to win analyses and probability of winning. A proven track record of negotiation and closing high value contracts involving strategic business relationships. A candidate must have the following experience:
  • Contract negotiation with GC executives, Owners, Sr. PMs, & key personnel

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform all functions related to tool fabrication, rework, and repair as required.

  • Obtain work orders from the team leader or supervisor, determining assignments based on schedule dates and tool availability.

  • Read work orders and blueprints to identify required tasks, tools, and equipment.

  • Develop plans for the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of tools.

  • Initiate and coordinate engineering change requests with internal support groups when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate records of orders and coordinate tooling information with other shifts and departments.

  • Handle hazardous materials in compliance with Boeing procedures, using appropriate personal protective equipment.

The Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager that will provide leadership and direction for successful data center project completion. The Project Manager will provide a keen focus on the quality delivery and profitability of the job by planning, scheduling, and managing the project team while ensuring that the schedule and project goals for the job are met. It is critical that the Project Manager perform this work within the policies, ethical standards and objectives of Hermanson Company.

Project Managers will also be responsible for employee training and development (including their own growth and development), coordination with other departments and group managers to help meet strategic company goals, and for providing world-class customer service and building strong customer trust and relationships.

The successful Project Management candidate will have the technical and working knowledge generally achieved from at least 5 – 10 years of successful experience in the mechanical construction industry in capacities that would provide direct experience and exposure to Project Manager duties.


The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $140,000. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).


Qualifications

The successful Project Management candidate will have the technical and working knowledge generally achieved from at least 5 - 10 years of successful experience in the mechanical construction industry in capacities that would provide direct experience and exposure to project manager duties. In addition, we are seeking someone who:

  • Has a proven track record of excellent customer relations and problem solving.
  • Has a strong technical knowledge of mechanical system operations,
  • Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Preparing client and subcontractor change orders.
  • Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of projects.
  • Coordination of work with trades, subcontractors and vendors.
  • Coach and mentor project team members.
  • Develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors.
  • Is an accomplished team player.
  • Can demonstrate solid computer and online navigation skills
  • Has good math, communication, and reasoning ability and strong business skills.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred or equivalent education and experience.
