Purpose: The Senior Development Coordinator is responsible for providing centralized team support for the Development Department, maintaining accurate donor records, processing gifts, purchase orders and invoices. Responsible for all administrative and clerical tasks necessary in performing the duties of this position. The Sr. Development Coordinator works on special projects to advance the department's efforts in identifying new donor prospects and cultivating and stewarding existing donor base. What you will do:

• Ensures accurate and timely database entries, including donor interactions and development plans, and is responsible for database management of all related job tasks. Documents and maintains accurate constituent records for current and prospective donors.
• Provides essential details to ensure accurate gift processing and fund designation. Makes gift deposits, creates and uploads batches as directed. Submits check requests, processes reimbursements, orders office supplies as needed.
• Communicates on behalf of Leader(s) with designated donors to maintain engagement and to surface major gifts and prospects. Communicates with Leader(s) as needed to maximize philanthropic potential. Provides support for Leaders in with drafting and preparing solicitation proposals. Assists with the planning and coordination of major gift solicitations, stewardship and donor recognition as directed. Responsible for coordinating meetings and managing calendars for multiple leaders, including tracking pending meetings and entering scheduled, planned, and completed meetings in Blackbaud CRM.
• Creates and maintains reporting mechanisms to support department goals as needed. Maintains strict confidentiality of donor information, gift details and department metrics.
• Maintains communications, newsletters, mailboxes, mailings, etc., that are distributed to donors. Responds to donors in a timely and professional manner.
• Creates and maintains reports including but not limited to proposals, event appeals, fiscal year performance reports, committee metrics, solicitor performance reports, organization giving reports, donor lists, and more.
• Develops and maintains strategic relationships and networks with hospital departments, internal and external key stakeholders
• Coordinate development aspects of patient / donor concierge program to facilitate any patient needs, to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of job-related experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Knowledge and practical use of donor database systems such as Blackbaud CRM & PeopleSoft preferred.

This Program Cost Control Analyst position will, under minimal supervision, interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.

The Program Cost Control Analyst will have experience with Earned Value Management and performance measurement baseline concepts and be able to apply them to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT).  This position will be responsible for leading and training other analysts if full level 1 Earned Value contracts.

Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks include:

• Establishing Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled

• Assessing and maintaining of objective performance criteria – developing, maintaining, analyzing and justification of estimates to complete

• Maintaining a solid and accurate cost and schedule integration with business partners and program teams

Perform analysis & prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer to support our Karl Lagerfeld Paris team, with a strong specialization in sweater design and yarn sourcing and development. This role will research trends, create cohesive collections, develop innovative knitwear concepts, communicate design intent to factories, and support production and merchandising teams throughout the development process. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in knit construction, yarn development, and sweater commercialization, and is detail-oriented, organized, and able to translate creative concepts into commercially viable garments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research current trends and forecast evolution within brand identity
• Lead the design and development of sweater and knit categories, including silhouette development, stitch innovation, gauge selection, and construction techniques
• Partner with sourcing teams and mills to develop and source yarns aligned with seasonal concepts, cost targets, and performance requirements
• Apply findings from trend research (blogs, magazines, stores, street-style, vintage exploration) to create cohesive, seasonally relevant collections
• Communicate seasonal concept and knitwear design intent to factories and request preliminary treatments, stitch layouts, and mock-ups
• Generate tech-packs with detailed knit specifications including stitch construction, gauge, yarn composition, trims, and finishing details for overseas factories
• Evaluate knit prototypes, provide detailed fit and construction feedback, and communicate adjustments through photographs, spec notes, and diagram sketches
• Collaborate with overseas vendors on yarn development, wash techniques, hand-feel, and costing to achieve design and margin goals
• Refabricate and sketch to support seasonal objectives within line plan and SKU count
• Amplify visual cues to reinforce concept and translate garments to runway program with stylist
• Support the collection through production, ensuring correct development, yarn allocation, and color execution for each garment
• Assist Merchandising Team and VP of Design with seasonal introductions
• Field merchandising requests

Qualifications:

• High-end design background with advanced knowledge of knitwear construction, stitch development, gauge, and yarn innovation
• Proven experience working directly with mills and overseas factories on yarn development and costing

POSITION – Senior Optical Design Engineer 

Reporting to the Lead, the Senior Optical Design Engineer will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and scientists to help envision and design cutting-edge Myrias Optics components and systems. Specifically, this position will head up Myrias’ design efforts, shaping the optical components and subsystem for our external customers and internal products.  This position will also be responsible for growing and managing the optical design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and capable engineer to gain expertise in the growing fields of meta-optics, waveguides, and diffractive optics.  Together, we can shape next-generation optical systems for consumer devices, AR/VR, medical instrumentation, automobiles, robotics, and more.  

POSITION TYPE: Full time, on-site  

Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000

LOCATION: Amherst, MA 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• In collaboration with the technical team, the candidate will perform day-to-day metasurface design and analysis based on Myrias’ proprietary all-inorganic nano-imprint materials and processes. 
• Expand Myrias’ design capabilities, including development of simulation workflows and modeling pipelines using in-house developed codes, to advance our unique and proprietary optical design environment.   
• Design and simulate optical components and sub systems (waveguides, diffractive optics, meta-optics, etc.)  
• Automate design tasks using Python and MATLAB for next-generation and future metasurface products.   
• Perform tolerance studies, optimize, and iterate on designs to meet manufacturing requirements for Myrias’ products.  
• Coordinate with process development and production teams to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing.  
• Support specification and acquisition of key design tools and hardware. 
• Providing customer support for new designs and products and participating in customer meetings. 
• Create detailed internal specification documents for simulation methodologies, design rules, and customer product reports. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Ph.D. or MS.c. with 5+ years of related experience in optical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent field. 
• Strong experience conducting design and simulation of optical components and systems, such as diffractive optics, imaging systems, optical waveguides, laser systems. 
• Solid understanding of metasurface physics, and diffractive, geometrical, and ray optics. 
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++ for scientific computing, and workflow automation. 
• Extensive hands-on experience with commercial and custom optical design and simulation tools, including RCWA (e.g., S4), FDTD (Meep or Lumerical), Zemax/CodeV, and RSoft; familiarity with additional modeling techniques and tools such as TMM, FEM, LightTrans, etc., is highly desirable. 
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, as well as experience using SLURM for workload and job management. 
• Experience with optical characterization and the ability to experimentally validate designs in a laboratory setting. 
• Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills. 
• Familiarity with CAD design packages (e.g., SolidWorks or AutoCAD) are desirable. 
• Familiarity with imprint or nanofabrication processes and cleanroom experience are a plus. 
• Ability to bridge technology development with commercial demands.  
• Comfortable with the fast-paced startup or early-stage business environment. 
• Entrepreneurial spirit, detail-oriented, and self-driven with a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves mentality.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience developing custom simulation tools and optimization pipeline. 
• Experience with integrating machine learning and inverse design methods into metasuface design process.
