Medical Equipment Technician

Medical Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring safe delivery, providing setup, and education in usage of home medical equipment for our customers. Setup is done in their home, long-term care setting, clinic or any location deemed necessary to service patients.

Warehouse Technician (Driving)


The Warehouse Technician will process orders, prepare items for shipment and receive incoming inventory. Where applicable also responsible for cleaning and disinfecting returned equipment, cleaning room maintenance, stocking and staging inventory, and inventory maintenance. The technician assists the supervisor or manager in pulling and loading equipment for delivery in addition to assembly of equipment when necessary, maintaining confidentiality and all other aspects of HIPAA compliance are essential in this job. Employees in this position may also be requested to deliver equipment to patients and/or facilities.  


Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs data entry in appropriate applications, updates shipping information, and tracks orders.

Operations Manager

The Manager of Operations oversees the operations performed within a branch. Specifically, providing leadership, guidance, and coordination of services to ensure the distribution of all medical equipment, supplies and services delivered to a patient’s home accurately and on-time. Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers compassionate, high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment for teens, adults, and seniors. We provide a full-range of evidence-based medical and clinical services in a state-of-the-art healing environment. Programs include inpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

How you'll contribute

The Therapist for the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is responsible for providing comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals experiencing psychiatric and/or substance use disorders. This includes conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions; participating actively in treatment planning, crisis intervention, and discharge or aftercare coordination. The Therapist collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team-including physicians, nursing staff, and utilization review-to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. This position requires accurate and timely documentation, adherence to confidentiality and regulatory standards (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2), and a commitment to supporting patients' emotional and behavioral health recovery in a structured, therapeutic setting.

Who We Are:
North Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 198-bed general acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology services; medical/surgical inpatient units; and short-stay surgery units. Shoals also operates the region's only in-patient acute rehabilitation facility, the J. W. Sommer Rehabilitation Unit, and the Shoals Senior Care Center, the Shoals' only psychiatric unit dedicated to our senior adults.

Position Summary:
The Program Director of Behavioral Health oversees strategic planning, operations, and policy enforcement to ensure high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health services. They manage budgeting, supervise staff, and guide both short- and long-term program development to maintain financial and clinical excellence.

  • Manages all aspects of behavioral health unit operations, including staffing, care delivery, and facility maintenance.
  • Participates in strategic planning, budgeting, and marketing efforts to support program growth.
  • Ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Acts as a liaison between hospital leadership, divisional teams, and unit staff to maintain collaboration.
  • Leads change initiatives, evaluates leadership performance, and promotes a positive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master's degree in nursing; preferred.
  • Qualified by education and experience in the care of behavioral health patients.
  • Licensure in State of Practice if applicable.
  • Licensed Master's level clinician required
  • Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling preferred.
  • 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
