What Youll Do
As a Screener, you will play a vital role in assembling and ensuring the quality of our window and patio door screens. Your responsibilities will include:
Assembly & Tool Operation
- Use hand tools to install mesh into pre-assembled screen frames for a finished product.
- Maintain a steady workflow by ensuring materials move efficiently between production stages.
- Perform periodic checks on completed screens to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.
Quality Control & Problem-Solving
- Monitor production for inconsistencies and report any concerns to your supervisor.
- Identify and resolve minor production issues, escalating significant problems when necessary.
Safety & Maintenance
- Keep tools, equipment, and workstations in top working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to 5S principles for organization, efficiency, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:
- The process technician level II will have a primary focus on plant logistic support. With this, the incumbent will have to come to our site and learn about our state-of-the-art glass making process and then assist us in creating routings for our process.
- This includes entering production information into our facility data system and maintaining other data sources as required.
- This position will involve the transportation of parts (making sure the parts are in the right location and move throughout the plant as planned).

The Supervisor maintains an active presence on the floor to monitor aseptic behaviors, ensure SOPs/GDP adherence, and address non-compliant actions in real time.

The Opportunity
Working under general supervision in accordance with specific procedures and practices, may perform a combination of assembly, weld, x-ray, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, electronic systems, and related medical device assemblies. - Locates and corrects problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts; Repairs and tests units using computerized test equipment.
- Performs Casting/Coating functions: Examines medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxy; Utilizes small drills, reamers, taps and knives to access bubbles and remove excess epoxy; Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patches.
- Performs Mechanical Assembly functions: Kits, assembles, bonds coats and processes medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools; Locates and corrects problems by examining devices and components and visually inspecting parts/assemblies; Repairs and corrects devices and related components using microscopes and applicable tools.
- Performs Packaging Functions: Kits, assembles and packages devices and related accessories using applicable tools; Locates and corrects problems using microscope and applicable tools; Reviews all device documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- May set-up/utilize special test equipment.
- May provide assistance in expediting priority product and tasks in assigned areas.

- Activities require a significant amount of time standing and/or sitting at a workstation, walking to and from different workstations, and in interaction with other assembly, inspection, engineering and production personnel. Significant use of hands and arms plus finger dexterity to lift, hold, insert, reach, point and otherwise use and operate instruments, devices and equipment, plus good eye-hand coordination. Use of voice and hearing are important in discussions with other co-workers. Requires clear vision (correctable) in reading instruments and devices, plus reading of blueprints, specifications, operation sheets/procedures, and related production documents. May on occasion lift up to approximately 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant training/experience in the assembly of digital/analog circuitry, devices, components or equivalent.
- Experience must include at least one year in the bio-medical field or experience working in an air-conditioned clean room manufacturing environment requiring stringent environmental controls. Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
- Demonstrated use of standard hand tools used in the assembly of bio-instruments/bio-devices. Incumbents are required to work cooperatively and productively with others. Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate information from to varied disciplines including Engineering, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Must be able to multi-task and rotate through all jobs performed in the assigned work group as needed. Incumbents must also be able to meet deadlines on multiple projects.
- Incumbents are required to have demonstrated spelling, punctuation, grammar, basic math/numerical, organizational skills, and a familiarity with standard manufacturing/office equipment and procedures. The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is also required; this requirement includes clear, understandable speech and demonstrated comprehension skills. The ability to successfully pass a reading comprehension pre-employment examination is mandatory.

The Production Packaging Supervisor - 3rd Shift leads and coordinates the activities of their shift to realize production targets. This includes assisting with all material supply in line with Production/Packaging plan to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations and supporting any other operational areas needs. The ideal Production Packaging Supervisor - 3rd Shift, will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory or management level position, and at least 1 or more years of experience working in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the staffing process to ensure colleagues have the training and education necessary to build the job-related skills needed to perform all required duties, safely and effectively, meeting HARIBO's high standards
- Promote and maintain good employee relations on the line, both personally and with the Team Leads and extended teams. Lead the team leads and extended team by providing coaching and counselling in conjunction with regular reviews and training, to maintain a high morale on the line
- Work with, collaborate and cooperate with the Maintenance Planner and Production Planner to ensure delivery commitments are achieved. Ensure trials, changeovers and maintenance work is planned and completed on time and does not conflict with production schedule attainment. Investigate problems resulting in attainment misses and implement corrective actions
- Monitor line performance and ensure output, labor and material yield standards are achieved
- Ensure Product and Performance data is available and accurate at all times. Prepare KPIs and reports for use at the Daily Management System meetings, and to communicate performance to the Site Leadership team and Line teams

Qualifications:
- Must be available to work 3rd shift production schedule
- High School Diploma or equivalency (GED,HSED) required
- Minimum of 5 Years of Manufacturing Experience preferred in a non-union environment
- Minimum of 2 Years of Supervisory or management experience is required
- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
- Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands
- Strong decision-making, problem solving, and organizational skills are required
- Ability to train others and coach to compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, SAP, and LMS) systems preferred

Target Hiring Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually

Responsible for maintaining production schedules and ensuring that quality standards are adhered to by the group.
**Hands-on experience and knowledge of Surface Mount Technologies (SMT) and Thru-hole equipment/gear.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitment and Retention:· Recruit, interview and hire Process Engineers, Industrial Techs, WAVE Techs, and Machine Support Techs· Communicate criteria to recruiters for Process Engineers, Industrial Techs, WAVE Techs, and Machine Support Techs candidates.· Coach machine support department staff in the interviewing/hiring process.· Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.Employee and Team Development:· Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.· Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility.· Coach and mentor tooling department staff to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.· Create and manage succession plans for the machine shop function.Performance Management:· Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e.
operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities, personal development goals).· Solicit ongoing feedback from Workcell Manager (WCM), Business Unit Manager (BUM), peers and team member on the PE team member's contribution to the workcell.
Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team member based on feedback.· Express pride in staff and encourage them to feel good about their accomplishments.· Perform team member evaluations professionally and on time.· Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.· Coordinate activities of large teams and keep them focused in times of crises.· Ensure recognition and rewards are managed fairly and consistently in area of responsibility.Communication:· Provide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department.· Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.· Ask questions; encourage input from team members.· Assess communication style of individual team members and adapt own communication style accordingly.TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES· Oversees the maintenance management program including repair parts, preventative maintenance, feeder maintenance, and the support equipment maintenance program· Plans the activities of the technical staff· Develops and maintains all department reports/records· Supervises the planning and execution of line moves and builds· Schedules equipment vendors for installation, repair and updates of equipment· Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.· Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement.
Identify and implement new practices and processes that are "best in field."· Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.· Lead by example; "walk the talk."· Utilize Jabil's Advanced Engineering group to ensure useful support to Jabil South.· Establish new measurement systems if/where possible.· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; and three years experience in maintenance management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experience and knowledge of Surface Mount Technologies (SMT) and Thru-hole equipment/gear, process optimization, Statistical Process Control, Design for Manufacturability, Design for Test, Demand Flow Technology (line balancing), and Design of Experiment methodologies.
Knowledge of engineering disciplines including chemistry, mechanical, electrical, and industrial as it pertains to surface mount and final assembly.
