Kelly Services is looking for a production supervisor for a packaging company in Florence, KY.
This is a direct hire role and is not temporary or contract. Position is a salaried role and pays between $88,500 and $92,000 yearly with benefits that include 3 weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, health and life insurance, 401k match up to 6%, etc.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION. The hours are 7:45p-8:15a and would be on a 2-2-3 12 hour shift. Rotation would be one week you would work Mon, Tues, Sat, and Sun and the next week you would work the opposite days.
We are looking for someone that has at least 5 years of experience in supervisory role in manufacturing with at least one year in Industrial Manufacturing. This is a very hands on role where you will spend most of your time on the floor. You'll start your day going over safety with the team of 22 employees over 5 different lines. You'll also be following up on production actions, negotiation and managing staff shortages. At times, you will be relieving someone to take a lunch and will be working in their position until someone is able to take over. Position requires steel toed shoes or boots and is provided by the customer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Production Team Lead oversees day-to-day execution across Compounding, Compression, and Packaging, ensuring compliance with cGMP, quality, safety, and SOPs, and executes production plans set by the Production Supervisor. Cross-Functional Production Oversight

The Mobile Production Manager oversees the daily execution of production plans, which includes strategic workforce management; achievement of daily production, safety and quality metrics; and precise inventory control. About the Role
The PVCO Production Shift Supervisor at our Wichita Falls, TX is responsible for leading daily production operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of PVCO pipe. The Production Planner is the starting point for all materials and production planning activities. This role is responsible for managing customer demand, driving requisitions for buyers, and ensuring the production floor has the materials needed to meet schedule requirements. The planner serves as the primary point of contact between Jabil and the customer’s materials leadership, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills.
This position is approximately 60% desk-based planning and 40% floor-based coordination, requiring comfort working directly with materials technicians and production supervisors.
What can you expect to do?
- Serve as the customer-facing liaison for demand planning and shipment coordination.
- Manage demand signals and translate them into actionable requisitions for the purchasing team.
- Use and navigate three planning systems: SAP, PRISM, and Asprova.

How You'll Contribute:
The main role of the Video Production Specialist I will be to help manage various video projects, assisting other Production Specialists or Webcast directors on behalf of a client to ensure project delivery, coordination of the production, video project details from concept/creation through completion via Multimedia editors, Field Production, Creative Director, and Distribution Support Team.
What You'll Do:
- The Production Specialist I will be the liaison between the Production Specialist II or Account Specialist client and the creative department.

- Will track status of project, reinforce timelines and maintain client expectation set; a main focus will be to keep team members on task based on identified timelines for completion.

- Has the ability to research or request research from team members in support of client project for background, and development of storyboards and scripts.
- Skilled in creative writing and copy development for digital, print, and video content.

The Production Packaging Supervisor - 3rd Shift leads and coordinates the activities of their shift to realize production targets. This includes assisting with all material supply in line with Production/Packaging plan to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations and supporting any other operational areas needs. The ideal Production Packaging Supervisor - 3rd Shift, will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory or management level position, and at least 1 or more years of experience working in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the staffing process to ensure colleagues have the training and education necessary to build the job-related skills needed to perform all required duties, safely and effectively, meeting HARIBO's high standards
- Promote and maintain good employee relations on the line, both personally and with the Team Leads and extended teams. Lead the team leads and extended team by providing coaching and counselling in conjunction with regular reviews and training, to maintain a high morale on the line
- Work with, collaborate and cooperate with the Maintenance Planner and Production Planner to ensure delivery commitments are achieved. Ensure trials, changeovers and maintenance work is planned and completed on time and does not conflict with production schedule attainment. Investigate problems resulting in attainment misses and implement corrective actions
- Monitor line performance and ensure output, labor and material yield standards are achieved
- Ensure Product and Performance data is available and accurate at all times. Prepare KPIs and reports for use at the Daily Management System meetings, and to communicate performance to the Site Leadership team and Line teams

Qualifications:
- Must be available to work 3rd shift production schedule
- High School Diploma or equivalency (GED,HSED) required

Target Hiring Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
