Job Description
Position: Part-Time Employment
Experience: Proven time supporting executive level management
Location: Nexton Office, Summerville SC (in-person, in-office)
Reports to: President / CEO
Overview: We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the CEO. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and operates with a high level of professionalism and efficiency. The Executive Assistant will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, helping manage priorities, streamlining communication, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. This is a part-time position and does not include a benefits package at this time. Strong potential for the role to grow into a full-time position with benefits based on performance and business needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel with precision
- Act as a gatekeeper of the CEO’s time - prioritizing requests and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Screen incoming calls and communications, handling or redirecting as appropriate
- Monitor, review, prioritize, and respond to emails on behalf of the CEO when appropriate
- Attend meetings alongside the CEO as needed
- Capture detailed meeting notes and translate them into clear, actionable follow-ups
- Track action items and ensure timely completion across various team members and third parties
- Assist with business development initiatives and follow-through on key action items
- Support execution of strategic priorities by coordinating tasks and deliverables
- Meet regularly with the CEO to align on priorities, progress, and upcoming needs
- Help structure and maintain the CEO’s daily and weekly routines
- Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems to improve efficiency
- Provide occasional support to other executives as required

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor degree preferred; Associate degree required.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar high-level administrative role
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in email, calendar, and productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Google Workspace, Otter, ChatGPT, etc.)
- Must obtain a negative drug test result prior to hire and maintain throughout the term of employment
- Must pass a background screening and complete a credit check prior to hire
- Independent, self-managed professional with comprehensive knowledge of the sitework or construction industry preferred
- Must have valid SC Driver’s License and willingness to travel throughout the workday
- Must pass a three (3) year Motor Vehicle Record check prior to hire
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional periods of time in your vehicle to complete errands / tasks / transport
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
