Cardiac Catheterization Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support cardiovascular procedures by assisting physicians, preparing equipment, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

Role Cath Lab Tech

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (ZIP: 85016)

Pay Rate: $60/hr to $65/hour

Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)

Shift: 3 days/week | 12-hour shifts (06:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Weekly Hours: 36 hours (Guaranteed)

• RCIS Certification (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) ← BIG PLUS
• 1–2+ years of Cath Lab experience
• Experience assisting in:
• Angiograms
• Stent placements
• Cardiac catheterization procedures
• Familiar with:
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Sterile technique

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor and communicate patient condition throughout procedures
• Operate cath lab equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure equipment readiness
• Manage and organize supplies for procedures
• Support patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab (required)
• Strong knowledge of cath lab equipment and procedures
• Ability to work in a high-pressure clinical environment
• Must be comfortable assisting during invasive procedures
• (Important) PCT/PCA candidates must be willing to draw blood
