American Omni Trading is seeking an E-Commerce Customer & Operations Lead to support the growth of our Tire Squire e-commerce business. This role is responsible for managing daily marketplace operations across Amazon Seller Central and eBay , including customer support, advertising campaigns, order management, and inventory coordination.
This is a hands-on operational role where you will initially manage the process yourself and eventually build and lead a team as the business scales .
This position is fully in-office in Katy, TX .
Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day operations within Amazon Seller Central and eBay marketplaces .
* Oversee order management, returns, and customer issue resolution .
* Maintain accurate product listings, images, descriptions, and pricing across marketplace platforms.
* Manage Amazon advertising campaigns (PPC) to drive traffic and sales.
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels and fulfillment coordination .
* Communicate with customers to resolve issues and ensure high satisfaction.
* Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve listings or campaigns.

Job Summary:

How Will You Make An Impact?
Manage, control and direct all inventory control, which includes receiving, stockroom, shipping, production floor Inventory, MRB and Inventory Analysts. Provide exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders.

What Will You Do?
Recruitment and Retention:
Β· Recruit, interview and hire Inventory Control, Stockroom, Prep and Receiving Supervisors

Β· Communicate criteria to recruiters for Inventory Control, Stockroom, Prep and Receiving Supervisors position candidates.
Β· Coach Inventory Control staff in the interviewing/hiring process.
Β· Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.
Employee and Team Development:
Β· Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
Β· Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility.
Β· Coach and mentor Inventory Control staff to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
Β· Create and manage succession plans for Inventory Control function.
Performance Management:
Β· Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities, personal development goals).
Β· Solicit ongoing feedback from Workcell Manager (WCM), Business Unit Manager (BUM), peers and team member on team member’s contribution to the Workcell team. Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team member based on feedback.
Β· Express pride in staff and encourage them to feel good about their accomplishments.
Β· Perform team member evaluations professionally and on time.
Β· Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.
Β· Coordinate activities of large teams and keep them focused in times of crises.
Β· Ensure recognition and rewards are managed fairly and consistently in area of responsibility.

Communication:
Β· Provide weekly communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department.
Β· Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
Β· Ask questions; encourage input from staff.
Β· Assess communication style of individual team members and adapt own communication style accordingly.
FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Strategy and Direction:
Β· Know and understand the campus strategic directions.
Β· Define, develop and implement an Inventory Control strategy, which contributes to the campus strategic directions.
Β· Develop an understanding of the Workcell business strategy as it pertains to Inventory Control.
Β· Provide regular updates to BUM, WCM, and Operations Manager on the execution of the strategy.
Cost Management:
Β· Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
Β· Utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value.
Β· Provide feedback to peers (BUMs, WCMs, Functional Managers (FMs) on cost and cost trends.
Forecast Development and Accuracy:
Β· Prepare timely forecasts for the department.
Β· Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis.
TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Β· Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
Β· Assess the adequacy of data gathering methods utilized by the workcells.
Β· Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
Β· Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are β€œbest in field.”
Β· Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
Β· Lead by example; β€œwalk the talk.”
Β· Facilitate any physical inventories as necessary.
Β· Establish new measurement systems if/where possible.
Β· Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
Β· Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health and Safety, Quality).
Β· Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
Β· Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Β· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Β· Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Β· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Β· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Β· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

Β· Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
Β· Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
Β· Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
Β· Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
Β· Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
Β· Strong and convincing communication skills.
Β· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Β· Bachelor’s degree preferred;
Β· 7 years experience, including 5 years in supervisory role.
Β· Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.

Β· Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
Β· Utilize tools to monitor department cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value.
Β· Provide feedback to Business Unit Manager and Assistant Operations Manager on costs and cost trends. Forecast Development and Accuracy:
Β· Prepare timely forecasts for the workcell.
Β· Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis.
Β· Complete variance of actual results versus the forecast on time and communicate results to Business Unit Manger, Assistant Operations Manager, Operations Manager and Workcell Team. TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Β· Train the workcell teams on the validity of management by metrics and with the team monitor all workcell metrics.
Β· Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
Β· Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
Β· Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes.
Β· Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; and five years experience, one year in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
