Our Client, a Global Insurance Firm, is seeking a Senior Life Insurance Product Analyst in their New York, NY location.
Role Overview
Join a transformative Core Modernization initiative focused on upgrading a legacy policy administration platform that has supported insurance operations for nearly sixty years. This program is replacing legacy infrastructure with modern technology to improve product configuration, policy lifecycle accuracy, compliance alignment, and client and agent experience.
As a Senior Associate within Life Insurance Solutions, you will play a key role in supporting the configuration and validation of retail life insurance products within a new policy administration system. This position blends deep product expertise with technical Excel modeling and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate policy lifecycle outputs throughout system migration.
What You Will Do
Product Configuration & Scenario Testing
- Design and enhance Excel-based scenario testing tools to validate retail life insurance product behavior
- Model full policy lifecycle scenarios including premium collection, loans, beneficiary changes, claims, renewals, and tax impacts
- Compare outputs between legacy and modernized systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
Tool Development & Automation
- Build, test, and maintain reliable Excel modeling tools to support system migration
- Partner with Automation Development teams to integrate automated features into testing tools
- Monitor tool efficiency and continuously improve usability and performance
Documentation & Communication
- Clearly document assumptions, findings, and product behaviors
- Communicate updates and testing results effectively across SCRUM and cross-functional teams
- Provide detailed reporting to support product development and modernization objectives
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Life Insurance products including Universal Life and Whole Life
- Strong understanding of product components, policy mechanics, and tax implications
- Working knowledge of IRC Sections 7702 and 7702A
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and complex formulas
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Excel VBA
- Exposure to Agile development environments
- Working knowledge of QA testing processes including test scenario design and validation techniques
Overview
This role operates MondayβFriday, 9:00 a.m.β5:00 p.m., with flexibility required to support evening events and occasional weekend programming. The position plays a key role in planning and delivering high-impact events that support the Instituteβs mission and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Institute of Global Politics events by developing project timelines and managing workflows to ensure deadlines are met
- Lead end-to-end event logistics, including scheduling, invitations and RSVP management, promotion, AV coordination, live streaming, photography, videography, signage, facilities setup, staffing, and catering
- Manage inventory and ordering of event supplies to support ongoing programming
- Coordinate and arrange speaker travel and related logistics
- Track and manage event budgets, expenses, and financial reporting
- Oversee day-of event execution, ensuring staffing coverage and serving as the primary on-site point of contact
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Event Management, Communications, Hospitality, Political Science, or a related field preferred
- Approximately 1β3 years of experience supporting or coordinating events, programs, or operations in a professional setting
- Demonstrated experience managing event logistics, timelines, and stakeholder coordination in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience tracking budgets and expenses and coordinating with vendors or internal partners
- Ability to manage invitations, RSVP tracking, and attendee communications with strong attention to detail
- Exposure to AV, live streaming, or technical event coordination preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional presence when working with speakers and external partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with event or registration platforms is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, to support event execution
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay organized and responsive during live events

Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively as a member of the firmβs Creative team, manage and fulfill daily graphic design requests, often under tight deadlines, to provide design support for a wide range of marketing activities including social media, video, infographics, advertising, collateral, presentations, and events.
- Develop new design concepts, artwork, templates, and guides that reinforce and enhance the firmβs brand globally.
- Create and refine templates for firmwide use within Microsoft applications, specifically PowerPoint and Word.
- Contribute to the evolution of the firmβs social media and video capabilities by experimenting with new and innovative visual communication approaches and techniques to elevate presence, engagement, and overall experience across these mediums.
- Stay up to date on the latest design trends and industry best practices, providing relevant analysis to inform and elevate marketing efforts.
- Work closely and collaboratively with colleagues contributing to the development, execution, and consistent delivery of high-quality marketing programs.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years delivering high-quality visual communication design; prior financial services sector experience is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the analytical ability to assess marketing scenarios and offer insights and creative solutions.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as PowerPoint, Word, Figma, Canva, and Workfront.
- Mastery of core design principles including typography, composition, scale, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple design requirements with careful attention to detail.
- Innovative mindset with a keen interest in staying abreast of visual communication best practices and industry trends.
- Self-starter who embraces an βall hands-on deckβ culture and demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Finance, or equivalent experience (5+ years).
